Overall purpose of job
Provides clerical and administration support to the Production Department and office in the day-to-day operation.
Responsibilities
· To records all employees daily attendance and overtime, including production team
· Assist to check all timesheets for daily work attendance overtime with the timekeeper against the system and records daily timesheet into system
· To record all attendance of leave records and MC Records of the production employees and highlight daily the records to person in charge
· Sorting documents and paperwork
· Keeps records, distribution and filing of all documents
· Updates all safety policy.
· Assist to order material and to keep records of the inventory.
· Assists in keying in material requisition.
· Liaising with suppliers and customers for ordering, and delivery material
· Sourcing for suppliers, compare quotations, negotiate with suppliers
· Ordering of materials requested by project teams or if the stock inventory is low.
· Comply with all statutory requirements for safety.
· Maintains availability of forms, permits and stationary needed by the projects.
· To report all expiring license due for renewal, eg insurance, permits for machines, and any other license.
· Report all injuries to their manager and follow up all the required protocol for injuries.
· Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Requirements
· Minimum of secondary education or preferably with GCE ‘O’ levels.
· Preferably 2 years of working experience or with relevant working experience.
· General working knowledge on filing and computer
· Required skill(s): Proficient in MS Office software such as word, excel Power-point and MS outlook
· Able to work in teams and can interact and communicate with diverse employee groups
· Able to work in fast-paced working environment
· Positive attitude and able to work independently and multi-task
·Able to work in Jurong Area/Tuas
