• Operates gas or diesel powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler-type traction, such as road graders, tractors with bulldozer or angle dozer blades, front-end loaders, backhoes, wheel loaders, trench diggers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scraper attachments.
• Operates equipment to push, pull, pile, excavate, backfill, grade, or level earth and/or refuse.
• Uses equipment to perform such functions as cutting, moving, digging, grading, and rolling earth, sand, stone, and other materials to maintain ditches, road shoulders, and beds.
• For Glacier National Park (Saint Mary and West Glacier, MT), you must possess a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement. Include a copy of your license in your application (with the photo removed or blocked) or indicate in resume CDL state, class, expire date, and any endorsements.
• For Rocky Mountain National Park (Estes Park and Grand Lake, CO), you must possess a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement. Include a copy of your license in your application (with the photo removed or blocked) or indicate in resume CDL state, class, expire date.

Major duties include:

• Provides or manages project scoping, data and asset management, design phases (pre­design, schematic design, design development, construction documents), value analysis, and administration for a broad range of facilities and related maintenance operations, including construction, rehabilitation, and renovation and re­purposing.
• Work may include, but is not limited to, the following type of structures or facilities: campsites, visitor centers, lodging, employee housing, potable water system, wastewater systems, communication systems, roads, bridges, trails, parking, bus facilities, transportation systems, and administrative structures as well as meeting budget and schedule requirements.
• Work includes multiple simultaneous projects, ranging from small, single­ discipline to large multi­disciplinary design and construction projects involving both single and multiple ­year phasing, potentially funded from multiple funding sources and the employee will encounter work components requiring creative solutions that balance cultural and natural resource compliance issues and/or politically sensitive issues.
