Workshop Fitter in Bristol
Carbon60 are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to work for a large engineering company that service pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.
This Workshop Engineer role is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced in the assembly and testing of rotating equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out the assembly, operation, and testing of pumps and associated rotating equipment.
- Overhaul and repair various types of rotating machinery in our state-of-the-art workshop.
- Undertake field-based assignments, approximately 10% of the time, to provide on-site support and services.
Skills and Experience required:
- Proven experience in the assembly, operation, and testing of pumps and associated rotating equipment.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills in the overhaul and repair of rotating machinery.
- Ability to work independently in a workshop-based environment and occasionally in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellence.
Salary: up to £36,967 + bonus and overtime.
90% workshop based & 10% field based.
