Join our team at AXA Retail as an ML Operations Engineer and play a pivotal role in our Pricing department, with a focus on our offerings in the Motor market. You’ll leverage your expertise in machine learning operations and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative pricing strategies.
You’ll be involved in the gathering of requirements, performing changes to APIs and models, performing pre-deployment tests, handling deployments, making post-deployment checks and maintenance. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you’ll also contribute to continuous improvement ideas, perform code reviews to maintain high technical standards, and work on larger changes with colleagues.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead the way with working with analysts to deploy ML models for a variety of Pricing use cases into our APIs and providing technical oversight for crucial processes and analyses.
Support and suggest new processes within the ML Ops pipeline to improve efficiency and quality of the code, APIs, and deployments.
Create, validate, and reconcile datasets for analysis and testing purposes to ensure the changes reflect upon requirements.
Work with a variety of stakeholders to maintain various software and systems, ensuring processes and data are aligned with the need of the modelling and API.
Assist in producing and developing appropriate monitoring for of pricing performance and providing regular updates to managers.

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our pricing team with robust and reusable data flows, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of data across the team. You’ll assist in the development of robust data pipelines, optimise data storage and retrieval, and contribute to the overall success of our data-driven initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

Build a detailed knowledge of AXA data sources, both internal and external.
Operate in fast-paced, iterative environment while remaining compliant with Information Security policies and standards.
Collaborate with pricing analysts and data scientists to prepare data for use in their advanced analytical models.
Design re-usable code and data assets to enable pricing team activity using Software Engineering best practices and code frameworks.
Codify best practices, methodology and share knowledge with other data engineers and scientists in AXA.
Ensure Data Governance practices are followed regarding the data assets created.
