Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, seeks an experienced Senior Lecturer for the School of Arts Management (SAM).

You can expect to play a key role in the arts sector by nurturing and equipping the next generation to work with artists and arts organisations in events, festivals, exhibitions and community arts. Main Roles and Responsibilities
The role involves managing and delivering Foundation, Diploma and Degree modules as assigned. You will deliver approximately 20-24 contact hours of teaching per week, demonstrating a high level of pedagogical competence. You will prepare and develop academic documents such as module guides & teaching resources.
A key part of the role includes contributing to curriculum development, conducting program reviews, and designing learning materials to ensure academic excellence. You will supervise and assess student projects, while also contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations and research.
In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring student progress and providing career guidance, while offering pastoral care and empathetic support to ensure students' overall well-being. Establishing and maintaining strong industry and institutional links is also critical to integrating academic knowledge with real-world industry practices, providing students with valuable professional connections and insights.
Requirements & Qualifications
- You should possess a Master’s degree in Arts Management, Technical Production or related areas, with a minimum of ten years of teaching and relevant industry experience.
- A proven track record in research, knowledge exchange, or professional practice that advances the field of Arts Management or Technical Production and aligns with the objectives of the School and Academy is essential.
- To excel in this role, you must also employ effective pedagogical methodologies, utilizing innovative and reflective approaches to inspire learning.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including academics, educators, artists, and cultural leaders, is a pre-requisite.
