We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated Teacher of Design and Technology.

As a member of our ADT faculty you will play a key role in supporting the development of our curriculum. We value a diverse and broad Art and Design curriculum; where students learn through playing with the materials they use. We promote curiosity, courage and independence in the classroom and want our students to be thinking, taking risks and problem solving like designers. With a track record of strong results we are keen to build upon our success, to be bolder and more ambitious with what our students can achieve. We are looking for a teacher who can bring their practice as a design teacher with them to help inspire our students with their own love of learning.

You would be joining an innovative and vibrant team. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate passion and creativity, as well as excellent subject knowledge. They must have a commitment to developing and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and enjoy the challenge of ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential.

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in Food Technology to students in all Key Stages ensuring that all learners make excellent progress.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the practical and theory aspects of the subject.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic potential.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Food Technology curriculum, incorporating relevant updates and advancements in the field.
