The post holder will be an experienced team leader, with substantial experience of managing staff, working with the JRMO R&D Finance Team to support and develop the workforce, with responsibility for the oversight and management of the operational aspects of research financial administration and the provision of a first-class service to our research community in the Trust, Queen Mary University of London (academic partner) and other research organisations.

Our group offers a unique variety of research experiences and is a fantastic place to learn the
speciality. As part our routine day, we work in the Pre-Operative Assessment Units, Theatres, Recovery, Critical Care Units and Surgical wards. You will be closely involved with the staff and patients in all of these departments and more widely across the Hospital, supporting the Barts BioResource programme.

Your primary base will be at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital.

The successful applicant will be committed to evidence-based practice and will be involved in the day to day management of research studies and the Barts BioResource. In line with the governments priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England.

This is an exciting opportunity for 4 Trainees to join the MHST.

We are seeking to recruit four graduate level practitioners to provide guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions. We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic, motivated administrator to work in the busy Cardiology Research Department within the newBarts Heart Centre.We are the biggest cardiovascular centre in Europe and have a growing portfolio of interventional research for cardiac patients. The primary responsibility for this post holder is support the delivery of our research portfolio as well as to assist with the every day tasks of the department. The post holder will be based within the cardiology research department at the Barts Heart centre. You might be required to cover multiple sites within the trust.

Our Children's Services division specialises in supplying trained and experienced teachers during or after school, including in a student's own home, on school premises or an alternative agreed venue.  

Our approach focuses solely on achieving goals for students, supporting growth, knowledge and development to demonstrate progress and harness their potential. To enable us to achieve this, we put significant thought into matching children with the right teaching approach, location and tutor. We find working this way leads to a greater achievement against targets.  

To be eligible for this role you must have the following:    

• QTS or Equivalent    

• Have a strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, Science and Functional Skills)    

• Minimum 2 years' experience working with children / young people in a classroom setting    

• Enhanced DBS on the update system    

• Hold right to work in the UK    

• Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy    

• Taught in a classroom setting in the UK
