Your Teaching career starts here. The organisation is looking for a Teacher to join their school without walls, based in Bristol. You will be working with an experienced team and in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
They are particularly interested in speaking with Secondary Teachers who have experience in any Key stage.
As a Teacher your day will be varied and interesting you will be able to follow a flexible structure whilst supporting their children and young people by providing bespoke therapeutic, educational frameworks that are tailor-made to each child and young person.
The organisation’s alternative education provision works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings; they offer education on an outreach basis or within one of their Ofsted registered schools.
As the Teacher you will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where they can support and follow a therapeutic practice. Their schools have been awarded the ‘Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Award’.
Their leadership team will invest in your progression as a professional in the Education sector. They source and deliver up-to-date training opportunities and prioritise and discuss your personal development goals to ensure you’re getting the most out of your career. They know how important it is that they look after you, so you can look after the children who need you, and that’s one of the key reasons they were named Employer of the Year at the National Children and Young People Awards 2021.
Their young people may have had many adults come in and out of their lives, often adding to their trauma. Therefore, they are looking for committed and dedicated people who want to continue their careers with a therapeutically based organisation and leading alternative education provision.
