The Field Support Manager is responsible for leading Reproductive Health product launches, training (internal and external), product questions, and case support for assigned area. This position provides leadership within the assigned area for product launches, in collaboration with Product Management and Marketing, and supports the annual business plan to help the sales team meet or exceed projected sales goals.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain current knowledge of SBU product line with a sound understanding of the associated medical specialties
• Educate, update and coach the sales team on new/updated SBU products, competitive products, and in general how to engage customers clinically
• Provide clinical support during procedures as needed
• Educate and update customers through in-servicing training, literature, videos and articles approved by the company
• Support and participate in VISTA Training Courses to help ensure effectiveness of the courses
• First point of contact for assigned area for product questions
• Develop and maintain active relationships with key accounts and key regional physicians
• Support product evaluations and/or clinical studies as appropriate
• Monitor market share and competitor activity in the assigned territory
• Provide market intelligence and other appropriate feedback to SBU management in a timely manner
• Participate in local, national and international meetings as requested. Ability to attend meetings and exhibitions outside of office hours and on weekends
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience as a embryologist or clinician and/or industry representative within the Reproductive Health product line
• Must have in depth knowledge of Reproductive Health products and procedures
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team, or projects or taking on training/leadership responsibilities in current role
• Good general understanding of business
• Demonstrated experience with planning and executing product launches, including working with Marketing and Product Management.
• Demonstrated ability and experience coaching other representatives on product and procedural knowledge and on engaging customers on a clinical level
• Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
