About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be a fundamental member of the team with a range of responsibilities, such as managing the procurement, commercial and contractual aspects in relation to construction projects. The key areas you will be concentrating on will be the procurement of sub-contractors, preparation and submission of external applications for payment, identification, pricing and agreement of change, valuation and agreement of sub-contractor accounts and the commercial management of projects. Responsibilities for Project Quantity Surveyor

Requirements for Project Quantity Surveyor

It is essential that you hold a BSc, NVQ4 or MSc qualification along with a relevant CSCS card. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to motivate and influence with ease. In addition, you will be a natural problem solver with exceptional commercial acumen and confident decision maker. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of construction techniques and processes, along with an excellent understanding of various forms of Method of Measurement and standard engineering contracts as well as having the appreciation and willingness to adopt Value engineering principles. • Manage all referrals for the provision of aids and adaptations for tenants with disabilities.
