An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join an expansive property and lettings company based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. We are looking for a Property Administrator to provide administrative support to the lettings team and liaise with a tenants and landlords on a daily basis. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Answering incoming calls and e-mails and dealing with general requests for information/property
- enquiries from Investors or Landlords.
- Answering colleague’s calls when they are unavailable and taking messages.
- Processing all new Tenancy applications from prospective tenants.
- Processing all new tenant deposits.
- Creating all new properties coming into management on the CRM system and other databases and ensuring that records are accurate and kept up to date.



What we need from you:

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills.
- Professional conduct and attitude to enhance the company’s reputation.

Surveying Claims Coordinator

£20,500 - £23,000 DOE
Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days home based)
Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week between 8am – 6pm

Have you worked in a claims department before?

The Surveying Support team are looking for an organised individual with claims experience to join them as a Claims Coordinator. Utilising your knowledge of claims management, you will effectively handle a wide range of scenarios, coordinating all involved parties throughout the lifecycle of the claim.

What will you be doing?

- Speaking and communicating with customers in order to understand their claim, plan and coordinate.
- Liaise with relevant surveyor and suppliers (where applicable) to ensure we have accurate details and progress the claim in a timely manner.
- Making informed decisions – e.g. who to send out to visit the customer to assist with their claim.
- Understanding exactly what we need from the visiting surveyor (and/or supplier) to ensure that we receive the right information to progress the claim. Whilst also being able to book in a visit.
- Reading and understanding the different reports compiled by the surveyors and issue to relevant parties within agreed timescales.
- Setting and maintaining financial reserves.

What are they looking for?

- Claims management experience, ideally in Property.
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be a big advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Cert CII and Cert CILA are both desirable

Building Surveyor (Scotland)

Where: Homebased role, based in and around either Glasgow or Edinburgh
When: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000pa - £50,000pa DOE + company car

We are currently seeking a Building Surveyor, providing technical and professional support to the property and large loss adjusting teams. You will play a key role in offering advice and guidance on complex building issues that arise from client losses.

This will involve tasks such as providing technical advice, writing reports, capturing specifications and scopes, preparing tender documentation, managing procurement, and overseeing contract administration. You will receive referrals for work from our own adjuster teams as well as third-party adjusters/insurers. It will be your responsibility to handle losses over £50,000, overseeing the entire process from engagement to completion.

What will you be doing?

- Working independently but as part of a home-based UK team, you will be responsible for your own portfolio of work.
- The work will involve repairs caused by all the major perils but mainly, fire, flood, escape of water and impact and all types of domestic buildings and some commercial property.
- Responsible for producing a quality service to internal and external loss adjusters and insurer clients following internal processes.
- Being a building construction technical referral point for the CCA team, including confirming and validation repair costs.
- Running own caseload of high value/complex property repairs, including conducting site visits and assessments to establish the extent and value of domestic and commercial damage and repairs.
- Provide support to our adjusters – assistance with scope reviews, structural engineers report reviews/ queries, loss assessor scopes, tenders, joint site visits, project management.

What we need from you:

- Must hold BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent
- RICS or CIOB desirable or working towards
- Experienced Surveyor
- Specialist experience in a related subject would be an advantage.
- Extensive and demonstrable property claims insurance experience is an advantage.
- A good level of construction industry experience/knowledge, including cost is required.
