Join Bromford’s mission to provide quality, safe homes so customers can thrive. We’re looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor to conduct surveys and support long-term asset planning for our 45,000 homes.
In this role you’ll support the collation of stock condition information and long-term asset management planning. As well as assist in the preparation, delivery, and monitoring of our five-year rolling programme of stock condition surveys. For example, you will carry out stock condition surveys of roofs, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, and other components within the property ensuring assessments comply with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System. You’ll also analyse data in response to customer enquiries or as part of the stock condition data collection and validation of programmed works. HHSRS accreditation is preferred.
You must have strong experience in property maintenance/construction, using mobile devices, and collaborating across teams. A flexible, customer-service approach is essential.
This role is available as a 16 month fixed term contract assessing properties across Birmingham and Northampton. A basic DBS check as well as a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
You will:
- Be HHSRS accredited
- Bring significant experience in a property maintenance (housing) or construction environment
- Have experience working and delivering services in a customer-focused environment
- Be experienced in stock condition surveys, HHSRS surveys and the management of property-related data
- Have a flexible working attitude with time, travel and demonstrated reliability
- Be comfortable working with mobile devices, such as tablets, laptops and smartphones
- Be IT literate and comfortable using various systems and Microsoft office products
- Build effective relationships with several teams both internal and external
- Have a full, driving licence with access to a vehicle
