• Responding to external and internal telephone queries relating to Council and others and referring to appropriate person.

• Liaise with Communications Team on the production of Trust Matters and other communications specific to governors.
• Maintenance of a variety of electronic databases as required and as directed.
• Support, as directed, with the annual Governor Elections process.
• Support the organisation and facilitation of the Annual Members’ Meeting.

The post holder will need to be a team player and a ‘completer-finisher’, with very strong communication skills and an eye for detail.

The post holder is expected to manage their own workload and work flexibly in support of the wider PA service and network management team if required. The post holder must be capable of working on his/her own initiative, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Service Manager and Associate Director.
• Manage and prioritise complex diaries, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations for key meetings and events.
• Act as a liaison between the senior management and other staff members, external partners, and stakeholders.

This company aims to provide exceptional quality furniture that is suitable for homes, offices, schools, and more. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Director.
Your new role

• Managing schedules, organising meetings and booking travel arrangements for the director.
• Managing the centralised inbox, dealing with queries where possible and transferring to relevant departments where necessary.
• Producing weekly reports.
• Minuting the meetings and following up on the actions.
• Maintaining and completing all administration.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a PA, ideally for a large organisation.
• Confident working on in-house systems and with Microsoft Packages.
• The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll get in return

• 9 Month Fixed-term contract.
• Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 08:00-16:00
