Our client, AMP Fuel Pty Ltd t/a AMPOL Cowra, operates a fuel station and convenience

highly motivated full-time Accounts Clerk to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, cost analysis, and reporting
functions of the business. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate record-keeping, budget
tracking, and seamless execution of financial operations within the retail network.
Minimum Requirements:
AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
1+ years' experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable documentation, ensuring timely and
accurate payments.
Reconcile invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes, and stock received for both
fuel and retail products.
Calculate and analyse costs for expenditures, wages, and stock purchases, ensuring
efficient cost allocation.
Perform daily bank reconciliations to align with sales and payments from the fuel
station and store.
Allocate and track expenses to specified budget accounts, ensuring financial
transparency.
Summarise daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions, monitoring sales and
expenditure.
Maintain records of standard costs and values for fuel and store inventory.
Record and track cost variations, ensuring accurate financial forecasting.
Assist in budget preparation and profit and loss analysis for both the fuel station and
store.
Investigate the costs of proposed expenditures and provide financial insights to
management.
Prepare comprehensive reports on costs, inventory adjustments, and profit margins
for strategic planning.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Proven experience in financial management, cost analysis, and budget preparation.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse financial data.
