A Regional Contractor is recruiting for a Cost Clerk to work in there Cilfynydd Office in South Wales.

The cost clerk will be responsible for processing of Good Received Notices (GRNs) within Coins throughout the DCWW Framework, correcting any error/missing GRNs identified during 3 way matching. This will involve corresponding with teams across the framework.

Cost Clerk Responsibilities & Duties:

Maintain register of Purchase orders

Maintain log and carry out submission of requisition documents to plant/buying department

Maintain log of purchase order numbers and hard copy file of orders.

Entry of GRN's onto Xpedeon

Regular liaison with the accounts department to ensure all the GRN entries are acceptable. Resolve any issues that arise as part of this liaison

Monitor and update Purchase orders as and when required.

Maintain and update weekly resource register

Log all deliveries to site and complete Weekly returns for Materials, Plant and Labour.

Log all other cost categories as required for completeness. (e.g. Staff allocations).

Hold weekly meetings with the site team to ensure all items are included.

Regularly check the system to monitor all rates and costs

Use all information to compile monthly Site cost file for use in monthly reporting.

Compilation of Test Data

Entry of test data and results into Excel spreadsheet

Spreadsheet analysis as required

Assist the Commercial Team when required

Run reports and distribute to teams as and when required

Assist with the integration of information from the weekly return to the overall resource register

Provide administration support to Office Manager and Core Team as necessary

The Personal Lending team provides support to CWB Banking Centers nationwide through receipt, underwriting and recommendation of complex Personal Lending applications, including guidance on project viability and loan structure. 

This player-coach role will actively support structuring, alignment, and recommendation of Personal borrowing solutions to the CWB Private Banking team and their clients. Risk Management

• Completes necessary due diligence while working with Personal Lending Specialists and partners to establish terms of credit, and produce prudent credit facilities that reflect strong knowledge of CWB policies and procedures

• Actively engage, challenge and respond to Credit Risk Management partners for structuring, alignment, and recommendation of highly complex Personal borrowing solutions while balancing risk and reward in line with CWB’s risk appetite.

• Ensure awareness of changes within the Canadian banking landscape specific to Personal Lending as outlined in the Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policy (RMUP)

• Identify potential risk that can lead to difficulty in repayment or potential default on the loan

• Proper AML/KYC practices and loan portfolio management with focus on loan quality, exposure limits and security requirements.

Core know-how & experience requirements

Professional Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline

• Working knowledge of OSFI’s Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policy (RMUP)

• Working understanding of mortgage insurance requirements (CMHC, Genworth)

• Expert knowledge of collateral security and personal lending documentation requirements, including credit policies and knowledge of other FI’s policies, products and processes would be beneficial.
