Lancashire and South Cumbria System Coordination Centre (SCC) are looking to recruit an additional Operational Manager to join their developing SCC. If you are currently working within healthcare or have previously worked within healthcare and looking for a new challenge and are passionate about working at a system level to improve and coordinate urgent care, this is the role for you.

The SCC Operational Manager will work with the Senior Managers to lead the team working in the Integrated Care Board (ICB) / MLCSU SCC. The role is responsible for delivering operational leadership via the SCC to ensure system level coordination of responses across Lancashire and South Cumbria to maintain flow across UEC pathways.

Please note: this service is planned to transfer from Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) to Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (LSC ICB) on 1stDecember 2024. Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

* Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Taking on responsibility for your store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Manager
* Leading by example in ensuring that all store standards including customer service, health & safety and food hygiene are
maintained.
* Taking responsibility for the updating and maintaining of store audits and administration procedures.



A Few Things About You

Being a Supervisor requires you be a few things all at the same time. We need someone who can support the Store Manager, motivate
the rest of the team all whilst making sure the day-to-day duties are completed. Our ideal person would also:

* Be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated.
* Have some experience of delegating tasks and motivating a team.
* Have a customer-focused manner, remaining helpful and friendly when dealing with any situation.
* Have a flexible approach to working hours.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: 42 per week, 2 weeks on days & 2 weeks on nights

Location: James Hall & Co, Bowland View, Preston, PR2 5QT

Salary: £13.97 p/h

About the Role

We are looking for a security guard to join our team to contribute towards the overall security of the Bowland view site,
controlling site access, directing visitors and deliveries to the correct locations.



Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

* Maintaining the safety, security and operational standards of the external areas of our depot.
* Ensuring site security is maintained by controlling access to pass holders, deliveries and valid visitors.
* Monitoring CCTV, the intruder alarm, fire alarms and the building management system.
* Working alongside a team of security guards based over different areas of the site, ensuring accurate and up to date
communication of any issues.
* Reporting incidents in compliance with security procedures.
* Completing incident logs and reports accurately and thoroughly.
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
* Greeting and directing all visitors to reception.
* Building and maintaining productive working relations with staff and visitors.

Your new company
This small family run surveying business, based in Preston, is currently looking to expand and welcome a Business Administrator to join the team. They have been established for a number of years, and are seeking a Business Administrator to contribute to the daily functioning of the business. This will be on a full or part-time, permanent basis and there is an opportunity for flexible working hours and days dependent on the candidate and business needs.
Your new role

• Managing and organising an inbox, ensuring emails are distributed and actioned according.
• Updating and maintaining the company database and client information.
• Assisting will all aspects of administration to ensure a smooth running of the business.
• Diary management, organising files and taking general queries via email and phone.
• Processing invoices using Xero.
• Ensuring files and compliance is maintained.
• Utilising excellent communication, both written and verbal.

What you'll need to succeed

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Previous experience working within administration is essential.
• Ability to commute to Preston one day per week.
• Working off your own initiative.
• Proficient with Microsoft Packages and inhouse systems.
• An understanding of Xero and previous experience of bookkeeping would be desirable but not essential.
