• Develop processes as necessary for Post Sputter Engineering, specifically in areas of lubrication and tape polish
• Qualify new processes via running of evaluations and data collection and making interpretation with use of statistical tools
• Participate and lead the Post Sputter Engineering in New Product Introduction( NPI) task forces
• Coordinate the New Product Introduction (NPI) runs in post – sputter process area

Communicates with engineers and technical specialist regarding sputter metrology tools measurement results and calibration procedure. Able to revise any documents changes regarding sputter metrology
tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and resolve sputter instrumentation issues
• Maintain and update sputter instrument documentation including standard work procedures, process specifications, etc
• Facilitate small process improvement projects through collection and analyzing data and monitoring engineering trials
• Entering and compiling data relating to metrology measurement
• Training in the functions of the new project launches
• Other duties as assigned

1. Responsible for the procurement activities of the assigned materials which include:
2. Responsible as main interface with customer / product with effective coordination internally in addressing issues.
3. Coordinate material simulation activities to meet customer order fluctuation.
4. Study and take appropriate actions on the MRP reports after the MRP run.
5. Provide input/updates on material delivery related issues.
6. Ensure good material planning and expedite the right materials for smooth production.
7. Update critical parts list daily.
8. Attend daily operation meeting and attend task force calls on critical supply materials.
9. Coordinate activities with relevant parties to avoid line stoppage if the right material cannot arrive on time
10. Track and monitor supplier delivery performance.
11. Constantly review the planning parameters according to business trend.
12. Responsible to support the activities on inventory management to achieve monthly coverage and inventory turns including quick disposition on rejected and obsolete materials, minimize overhanging materials, work on overhanging materials claims etc.
13. Strategic planning to minimize special premium cost (e.g. change of ship mode) to support situation requirement.
14. Work on special freight claims and line-down claims due to delinquent supply from suppliers.
15. Procure new part releases.
16. Determine implementation dates of ECN (Engineering Change Notice) of both materials and software.
17. Prepare report e.g. ABC analysis, inventory report etc. as and when needed.
18. Support activities related to Bosch Production System (BPS), e.g. Supplier Kanban for continuous improvement.
19. Work together and support each other within LOG as well as other department.
20. Support and work towards achieving the departmental goal.
21. Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. 
22. Escalate procurement issues that affect a single Value Stream (Level 1 & 2).
