This role is to support all stages of the transfer pricing engagements including but not limited to transfer pricing reviews, benchmarking and price setting for inter-company transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible in managing and leading transfer pricing project work and on-going client relationships.
- Supervising multiple transfer pricing engagements and contributing to the delivery of quality tax planning services for diverse clients.
- Demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic/ financial knowledge to resolve client challenges.
- Working closely with clients to understand their expectations and requirements, helping client to manage their transfer pricing risk as well as provide timely and responsive services/ work products to the clients.
- Providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing by preparing quality documentations and assisting in defending transfer pricing in audit situations.
- Identify and pursue transfer pricing opportunities with the aim to get new engagements.
- Liaise with officers from the Inland Revenue Board, Ministry of Finance and other government agencies in connection with client engagements.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree and/or anu professional qualification in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Taxation or other similar disciplines.
- Knowledge of managing functional analyses interviews to identify and assess client's inter-company transactions and able to perform planning.
- Leadership and people management skills, respecting and appreciating all people and encouraging different viewpoints.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team, and able to work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
