Job Title: Manager in Chief Strategy and Investment Officer (CSIO) Office
Reports to: Chief Strategy and Investment Officer (CSIO)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Manager to support the Chief Strategy and Investment Officer (CSIO) in executing strategic initiatives and managing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional administrative skills, discretion, and the ability to manage complex schedules, communications, and confidential information. This role is designed for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and is committed to supporting the CSIO in achieving their professional and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Execute, review and assist in origination, structuring and execution of corporate proposals such as corporate and capital restructuring, funds raising exercise, initial public offering, merger and acquisition, etc.
- Familiarity with financial and investment terminology or an interest in learning about the finance sector is beneficial.
- Coordinate and monitor the execution of corporate proposals whilst maintaining good relationships with clients and other professionals (e.g., legal advisors, auditors, valuers, etc) and relevant authorities for all corporate proposals.
- Perform analysis on the feasibility of the corporate proposals.
- Prepare, assist and review in the applications/ documents for submission to relevant authorities for corporate proposals.
- Attend to queries from relevant regulatory authorities and coordinate with other professionals.
- Attend to any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
- Occasional travel may be required to support the CSIO’s engagements, conferences, or business trips.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, auditing or other related field.
- To be proficient with all relevant guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Possess at least a Degree in finance, accounting, law or any other related field. Candidates with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA would have an added advantage.
- Possess strong analytical skills for market and research data and detailed-oriented in the review of documentation and verification of information.
- Good English writing skills as well as communication skills to liaise with external parties involved in the corporate proposals.
- Ability to work under pressure and for long hours.
- Highly driven, independent, able to multitask and demonstrate good communication and presentation skills.
