QUALIFICATIONS

1. Prefer 2 years working experience in similar industry or equivalent. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

3. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin and its various dialects would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Record, initiate enter the cargo or shipments to the system to ensure existing information for further processing
• Pack, prepare, classify, and hold the shipments according to destination and the routing to be handled by assigned staff
• Calculate, account, and provide information about the shipment statistics; weight, destination, quantity, type, charge… etc.
• Perform material handling, receive, and deliver to the desired routing, processing, recipient, or any other concerned party.
• Communicate, plan, monitor, and report on processed or held goods for manipulation, delivery to other parties, or status updates.

• Coordinates with clients to arrange for the provision of logistics services at the client’s site
• Communicates with other departments including sales and marketing to effectively plan and distribute the workload
• Follows procedures of reporting on performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the superior.

This is a integrated transport and logistics company, providing international freight forwarding and logistics services across Asia, Australia and Europe/America continents. Currently they have several job openings in the operations works at their warehouse facilities at the North Port and West Port in Port Klang area. They are looking for experienced warehouse workers to undertake the warehouse operations functions at their Container Terminal at North Port (NDSB) and West Port in Port Klang.

The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operations team to manage the cargo/shipments that have have been imported or to be exported.

About the job

This role/job will be warehouse based and therefore not in a conventional office environment. This is a full-time permanent position and the role is primarily to help facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse operations activities.

The general duties will involve the following role:

*Perform cargo loading and unloading.

*To perform physical counts, tally and surface inspection of cargo upon receiving/delivery.

*To store cargoes in proper location assigned within the warehouse.

*To perform cargo issuance.

*Picking, packing and dispatch of cargo according to ownership and destinations.

Requirements

*Malaysians in age group 23-38.

*Punctual with positive work ethic.

*Physically fit with ability to lift and carry.

*Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business.

*Forklift license will be ideal, useful and beneficial.

*The ideal candidate for this role will be someone well organized with 2-3 years experience in warehouse operations, picking and packing ,customer services or similar environment preferred, and have the ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers.

*2-3 years of previous warehouse operations, especially in 3PL facility has a huge advantage and will be highly regarded.

*Hands on and hardworking with knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Proactively Engage the Customer Database: Reach out to potential and existing customers, promoting and recommending products from brands under HTT’s portfolio that align with their preferences, needs and aspirations. Strive to achieve company goals by driving customer engagement and conversions.
2. Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Get to know our customers intimately and anticipate their travel needs, providing personalized solutions and insights surrounding the experiences that we recommend for them. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of destinations, hotel options, flight options, and/or tour options to deliver value-added service.
3. Creatively curate experiences and solutions: Upon booking customers’ Luxe hotel of choice, to offer innovative and tailored experiences to customers, providing detailed quotes and options that align with their preferences and expectations. Handle customer billing and payments accurately, ensuring a seamless transaction process.
4. Arrange Travel Logistics: Make necessary travel arrangements, including hotel bookings, flights, transportation, and any additional services required. Ensure all arrangements are made within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe to achieve excellence in customer experience and operational efficiency.
5. Address Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, offering appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner.
