About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Executive to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for finance and accounting who are eager to grow their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• • Manage daily operations of the accounts department.
  • Handle full sets of accounts, month-end closings, and multiple account portfolios.
  • Execute accounting tasks, including invoice creation, reconciliation (AP), AR collection, and financial reporting.
  • Familiar with MFRS/IFRS regulations
  • Prepare for audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic reviews to monitor results.
  • Oversee and monitor company cash flows.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, company secretaries, auditors, and government agencies.
  • Work closely with tax agents on company tax submissions and compliance with local regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize, file, and manage daily finance department operations.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc duties as needed, particularly in finance.

Requirements

• • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Financial/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • (Candidates with partly/completed ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualifications are highly encouraged to apply.)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficient in MFRS/IFRS regulations, local business laws, and taxation.
  • Skilled in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with SQL Accounting Software is an advantage.

We are looking for skilled Legal Executives with a passion for Insolvency Practice to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage insolvency cases, including liquidation, bankruptcy, and administration.
2. Prepare correspondences, reports, and presentations and attend to statutory meetings
3. Handling administrative and management of cash books and accounts of companies under liquidation and/or receivership
4. Conducting company searches and lodgements of documents/forms with SSM
5. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the financial health of distressed companies.
6. Ensure compliance of legal formalities and ethical standards are adhered to with regards to companies under liquidation and/or receivership—advertisements, gazettes, liaising with insolvency department, etc
7. Liaise with creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders to negotiate and resolve financial issues.
8. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for court proceedings and creditor meetings.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law.
2. At least 3 years of experience in corporate recovery & insolvency practice.
3. In-depth knowledge of corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance principles.
4. Familiar with SSM, LHDN, insolvency compliance, accounting standards, tax laws, and filing procedures.
5. Exceptional report writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and informative documents.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
7. Able to travel when required
8. Ability to work independently and is a collaborative team player with attention to detail

• Position Title: Assistant Accountant/Senior Accounts Executive.
• Salary: RM 4000-5000.

This company,a subsidiary of a public listed company, is a forward looking organization specializing in business travel support services. They have been in the business of providing quality chauffeured limousine services and hire-and drive car rental for over two decades in Malaysia. Currently they are looking for accounting qualified candidates to become part of the Finance team to manage the full functions of accounting and finance of the organization at Bandar Bukit Jalil in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. 

The job role

This role is full time permanent position within the Finance Department.

The incumbent will support the day-to-day accounting functions in the Finance Department. Main responsibilities will be to manage full set of accounts and preparation of financial and management reporting.

Key duties:

*Production of month end management accounts including P&L,balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.

*Management of accruals,prepayments,depreciation and petty cash month journals.

*Reconciliation of monthly key ledger balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.

*Maintain accounting records and database.

Candidate Profile and attributes

We are looking for female candidate who would have a professional qualification ACCA or CIMA or finalist. Candidates with strong bachelor degree in Accounting will be duly considered.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
