Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

1. Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
2. Work closely with related department managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.
3. Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Employee Relations:

1. Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication and resolving employee conflicts.
2. Implement and manage employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace satisfaction
3. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Payroll Processing:

1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Calculate and process salary adjustments, bonuses, and other compensation-related matters.
3. Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies promptly.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

1. Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
2. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
3. Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to company policies.

Performance Management:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
2. Collaborate with managers to set performance objectives and monitor employee progress.
3. Provide guidance on performance improvement plans when necessary.

Administrative Support:

1. Oversee general office administration, including facilities management and procurement.
2. Manage travel arrangements.
3. Provide support for various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as an HR Executive or similar role.
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong knowledge of labour legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance).
• Demonstrable leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards (as issued by MASB) and other relevant accounting standards where applicable, including IRB requirements.
2. Prepare, review and analyse financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Cash Flow statements).
3. Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annual).
4. Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and other daily operations of the Accounting Department.
5. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
6. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
7. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assists in the preparation of audit documentations. Able to prepare tax returns, which is in compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements of IRB (Inland Revenue Board).
8. Assists in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
9. Analyse budget variances and provide recommendations of costs control and financial improvement
10. Perform financial analysis to support business decisions, including variance analysis, trend analysis and cost analysis.
11. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function and implement best practices
12. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews and providing training and development opportunities
13. Communicate financial results and issues to senior management and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent (ACCA/AIA).
2. Five (5) years previous experience as account senior executive or in similar post, having supervisory or managerial role
   1. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (Preferred languages are English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese)
3. Solid knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, regulatory requirement, financial reporting, processes, policy, and systems
4. Proficient computer skills in Accounting software (SQL or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision.
6. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
7. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
