Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Proficient in accounting software, such as SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Accounting/Audit Firm background is preferred
- ACCA/CIMA membership will provide additional advantages
Responsibility
- Handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities including preparation and processing of month end journals
- Handle full set of accounts include GL, AP, AR, monthly reporting, statements of accounts.
- Ensure proper maintenance of records, documents and filing to support all accounting entries.
- Assist to produce and submission of accurate analyst reports (Profit & Loss, Budget, Cost Recovery, Billing/Collection and Cash Flow Status)
- Liaise with banks, Company secretaries, tax agent, external auditor, government authorities, and professional advisors on company related matters.
- Comply with proper accounting policies, procedures and methods
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed
- Carry out ad-hoc assignments as and when requested.
