Role & Responsibilities:
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Work with the Contract Manager to manage the creation, ongoing maintenance, and review of all contracts with business principals, partners, vendors, and customers to mitigate risk and maximize value for the company.
- Point of Contact and Negotiations: Act as the primary point of contact for all parties in matters related to contract management and negotiate favorable terms to fully describe the engagement, services, and delivery for the company.
- Negotiation Strategies: Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses to the company while fostering win-win solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain continuous communication with business partners, internal sales teams, and relevant stakeholders about contractual issues to enhance relationships and decision-making.
- Service and Performance Monitoring: Review the contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms, identify conflicts, and address changes or resolutions required during contract renewal.
- Deadline and Deliverable Management: Maintain deadlines on deliverables and ensure timely follow-ups with relevant stakeholders to avoid delays in contract execution.
- Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Administer documentation, record-keeping, and risk reporting to management while ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Service Improvement: Demonstrate continuous commitment to service improvement by engaging relevant stakeholders and identifying opportunities for better contract management practices.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT technology contracting, including familiarity with Malaysian law and regulations, particularly around data confidentiality and privacy.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex terms clearly.
- Strong organizational and deadline management skills.
- Proficiency in applying organizational standards to develop efficient contract management processes.
