The Financial Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the management, statutory and external financing reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Provide value added services to all business partners and corporation through the analysis and interpretation of data. Provide management with suggestions for the improvement of accounting and business processes.

The ideal leader for this role must have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations. The position requires strong accounting and analytics, strong organizational ability, keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and employees.

What you’ll be doing as Financial Accountant

• Financial Reporting:
  • Day-to-day accounting operations, month/quarter/year-end including but not limited to all journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions to ensure all business transactions for Keypath Education legal entities are recorded timely and accurately in accordance with IFRS or other applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee tax declarations and ensure adherence to local tax regulations, leveraging your understanding of relevant tax laws.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and process depreciation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly close processes, financial statements, and management reports.
  • Provide insight and actual financial results to Head of Finance, as needed as it relates to the preparation of the forecast and annual budget.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure that reconciling items are identified and resolved on a timely basis.
  • Review of existing reporting processes and controls to streamline reporting and realize efficiencies.
  • Facilitate management reporting as is relates to Keypath Education consolidated results
  • Proactivity and independently identify any risk or opportunities for our current processes as it relates to the monthly close, billing, reporting, systems.

• Compliance and Controls:
  • Coordinate external audits and address audit findings promptly.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Implement and maintain efficient and effective processes to optimize productivity and minimize errors.

Additional Information

• This role is a permanent, full-time role. Only candidates located in Malaysia, and Malaysians or non-Malaysians with a valid permit to work in Malaysia will be considered for this role.
• Keypath's headquarters is located in Melbourne, Australia; as such, this position involves occasional travel to Melbourne throughout the year.
• The successful candidate will also be required to undergo a stringent background check process; including checking and verification of qualifications, prior employment history, criminal records and credit/bankcruptcy,  as part of the hiring process.
• Additionally, as this role involves collaboration with our US-based Finance Team, there will be a need for early starts to accommodate the time zone differences between the US and Malaysia. This requirement is expected to last for a 3 to 6 months handover period.

The Cloud Network and Cyber Security Engineer will report to and assist the VP of IT Infrastructure and Security and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud and on-premise network architectures. As part of the Infrastructure and Security team, this role will help lead cyber security efforts, securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats, and be the primary technical contact for all information security tooling, security risk and incident mitigation efforts, and documentation in our APAC region. This role will also work closely with the Lead Cyber Security Engineer and cross-functional teams to ensure that our organization’s systems are compliant with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

The Cloud Network and Cyber Security Engineer will provide security and configuration expertise and will work with functional leaders on broad technical initiatives around design, implementation, rollout, and monitoring of cloud enterprise systems in support of Keypath’s global cyber security and cloud roadmap. The Cloud and Network Cyber Security Engineer will also provide mentoring of System Administrators in security-related topics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud network architectures across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) to support our business operations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based networks by implementing redundancy, load balancing, and fault-tolerant configurations.
• Perform cyber defense incident triage, to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact, identifying the specific vulnerability, and making recommendations that enable timely remediation. • Collect intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, Trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential cyber defense incidents within the enterprise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design network solutions that meet business needs.
• Partner with leadership to educate staff in security best practices and requirements laid out in company security and technology policies and standards.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and security controls to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the information security and compliance program, providing regular updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in BC/DR and incident response tabletop exercises.
• In conjunction with 3rd party gap assessments, identify and recommend mitigation for security gaps in existing and proposed architectures.

As the Workforce Analyst at Keypath Education, you will provide deeper insights to our workforce capacity to respond to our work volumes across multiple functions and media.  You will collaborate with staff across Student Operations to ensure that workforce data will be provided to support both tactical and long-term decisions relating to the workforce.

The role supports the Workforce Manager effectively implementing workforce planning strategies and change, undertake scenario modelling and develop prediction techniques. You will monitor and drive effective contact centre performance across all queues and contact types in real time to deliver outstanding customer service. Your role involves analysing data, adjusting staffing levels, and communicating with team leaders and Keypath student advisors to address any immediate needs or issues

In this role, you will have to ensure that the Contact Centre meets student expectations through effective real time monitoring and strategies and empower them to deliver on driving student advocacy through supporting tools and processes. Provide stakeholders accurate and immediate reporting around drivers behind queue performance challenges through regular forums and comprehensive reporting.

This role will be on a fixed-term 12-month contract with possibility of extension, subject to business requirements.

The successful candidate will be based in Malaysia and will be part of and working with our Australian business directly. Working hours will be 7AM – 3PM daily from Monday to Friday.

Accountabilities: 

• Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyse workforce data and performance metrics. Ensure data quality and spot trends to guide strategic workforce planning. Analysis of data and reporting to identify emerging trends and anomalies to add value to the end-to-end workforce management process.
• Rostering: Create and maintain accurate rosters that meet the business needs.
• Real Time Monitoring: Monitor real time call volumes, student advisor availability and service levels across multiple channels.
• Intraday Management: Adjust intraday staffing plans based on actual volume, student advisor availability and absenteeism.
• Performance Reporting: Provide real time performance reporting and updates to Team Leaders and Managers, highlighting any areas of concerns or trends that require attention.
• Coordination and Communication: Work closely with Team Leaders, Managers, and the Workforce Manager to communicate real time performance, identify gaps and recommend actions to improve contact center performance.
• Incident Management: Quickly identify and respond to service disruptions, outages or any other incidents affecting the contact center’s ability to meet contact center targets.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to investigate and resolve specific issues or to provide insights on operational performance.
• Compliance and Adherence: Ensure all student advisors operations are compliant with company policies and that agents adhere to their schedules.
