- Directs the development of the logistics support plan and guidance for units, organizations and activities in support of federal and state missions to integrate the following command logistic functions; plans, operations, policies, SASMO equipment on hand readiness, command property management, command supply discipline program, supply excellence program, Connelly Food Service Award Program, DoD National Transportation Association Award Program, food service.

- Evaluates logistics data and requirements from JFHQ staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations to direct development and implementation of logistic support plans, policies, operations and other actions to support federal and state missions. Directs the establishment of the logistics operations cell to support the JFHQ Emergency Operations Center for federal and state missions. Responsible for advising the DOL DCSLOG/G4 on logistics support issues to accomplish mission requirements. Evaluates the logistics force modernization program to assure that materiel fielding is accomplished within established milestones. Develops and coordinates tactical logistics support requirements for the state. Serves as the primary advisor to the DCSLOG/G4 on logistics automation matters. Coordinates facility design and maintenance concerns of the DOL DCSLOG/G4with DEH, to include recommendations for supply and maintenance facility design and the repair of facilities. Management oversight of the General Services Administration Lease Vehicle Program (less recruitment and retention program).

- Performs a full range of supervisory functions. Implements accepted provisions of personnel management such as equal employment, merit promotion, career development, performance appraisals, employee counseling, incentive awards and position management. Selects or contributes to the selection of subordinates. Hears employee grievances and deals with union representatives as required. Establishes performance standards, authorizes leave and is responsible for time and attendance. Ensures adequate training is available for employees within the division. Supervises a staff of air traffic control specialist who are responsible for carrying out air traffic control assignments within a geographic area. • Coordinates and facilitates the activities of cross-functional teams to ensure ONRR harnesses the collective brain power of its workforce, breaks down organizational silos, leverages the most appropriate and effective technologies available, and leads the development of requirements and operational decisions to implement efficient and effective business processes.
• Exercises a broad range of supervisory responsibility including leading a multi-disciplinary technical staff of Product Managers and Operations Leads, providing job priorities, establishing work standards, hiring, evaluating performance, handling personnel issues, and ensuring the development, mentoring, and coaching of staff.

• The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• May perform a variety of technical procedures including capture, restraint, chemical immobilization, marking, transport, euthanasia, and/or necropsy of wildlife; collection of biological samples.
• May be required to take extensive training and recurrent training on wildlife damage or disease recognition, control methods, and techniques.
• Modifies or adapts established damage or disease control techniques as necessary to meet local conditions and address specific environmental, economic, or political considerations.
• Provides technical assistance to a variety of cooperators, along with conducting site visits or assessments to identify wildlife damage issues or threats.
• Gathers, compiles, evaluates, and presents data on damage or hazards caused by various wildlife species to cooperators, stakeholders, and colleagues through project or program reports.

This position is in the Maintenance Division at Harry S Truman National Historic Site (HSTR) Independence, Missouri. The position is supervised by the Facility Operations Specialist.

• Understanding safety operations when working with various carpentry equipment such as table saw, planers, hammers, chisels, joinery, hand tools, Routers, and other tools needed to perform carpentry duties.
• Has experience with Planning Environment & Public Comment (PEPC) or a similar system of compliance documentation when working with historic structures.
