As a Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. Job Description - Operate in a finance business partner role, supporting the Account Manager to manage their businesses and achieve their ambitious financial targets.
- Use trend analysis and forecasting techniques to highlight risk and opportunity in a timely manner to maximise benefit to the business.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend tools and technology to optimise site performance and user experience.
- Identify and implement initiatives at a regional level to deliver sustainable operational improvements.
- Support the mobilisation of new contracts, including building realistic operating budgets, monitoring performance during initial trading and working with the Operations team to implement any corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Support the regional month end process, reviewing proposed adjustments and supporting Account Manager on location performance.
- Provide meaningful and insightful reporting analysis to support regional operational review meetings.
- Work effectively as part of the finance team to identify and implement best practice opportunities across all regions. to develop and maintain an effective control environment and to continue to develop the existing business reporting environment.
Qualifications - Experience of operating in a multi-site retail/food services business
- A motivated, self-starter with an enquiring and pro-active approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments.
- Advanced computer skills – MS Word, Office, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent Excel skills
- Accounting or finance qualification desirable
