1. As a Joint Interface Control Analyst, GS-0301-12, you will apply broad and expansive knowledge and education of military, civil, and data link capabilities in support of AOC operations. Responsible to the CONR JICO in the daily execution and personnel training of the multi-TDL operation in and around the CONUS which includes working with all U.S. and Canadian military services. Responsible for conducting the continued planning, re-planning and problem resolution to establish, execute, and maintain an effective long-term CONR data link architecture and OPTASKLINK in the face of technology change, increasing amount of data link assets, and increasingly complex operational interoperability issues. As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Officer, GS-2101-12, you will administer refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record. Instructs and evaluates all AOC specialists to become instructors. Instructs such personnel to function within established joint doctrinal principles to plan and prosecute theater-level joint operations. As a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2130-9, you will perform the following duties:

1. Serves as the technical transportation advisor to all statewide operating officials on all matters dealing with commercial movement of personnel and equipment. Analyzes and advises on transportation considerations relative to the domestic and international movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel via all commercial transportation modes. Assist in the development of, maintains, and exercises the commercial traffic functions of mobilization plans, as well as training programs for managers and mobilization augmentees on related transportation subjects. The primary purpose of the PROGRAM MANAGER (DEPUTY AIR COMMANDER), GS-0340-14, is to provide leadership and management of the flying unit, to provide manpower, equipment, and training in peacetime, in preparation to perform the wartime mission. The incumbent is accountable with the Air Commander in complying with a wide variety of federal, state, and local authorities on all aspects of operations, personnel, equipment, funds, and real property in the accomplishment of duties. In addition, this position may have similar supervisory and/or support responsibilities for other flying and non-flying units which may be collocated or geographically separated.

As a UNIT LINK MANAGER, GS-0301-12, you will serve as the Link Unit Manager (LUM) and technical expert/advisor for planning, coordinating, and scheduling Tactical Data Link (TDL) operations, maintenance, and equipment for the Mobility Air Force (MAF) Wing. Within the MPC, provides oversight of TDL activities pertaining to the assigned unit and Air Mobility Command (AMC) in accordance with the duties outlined in AFMAN 13-116. Develops tailored procedures, conducts technical training and support, and improves processes of TDL systems for users and maintainers. Recommend changes to operations and maintenance processes to improve mission readiness and system capabilities. Brief wing leadership on the operation and performance of multiple TDLs. Perform the full range of WG-5823-10 duties and responsibilities. Possess the knowledge and skills found at the journey level as well as those required for planning, accomplishing, and maintaining a functional shop maintenance program.

Plan and lay out work to be accomplished in the shop, which is then completed by the incumbent and lower graded mechanic(s). Independently determine appropriate maintenance procedures such as how and when the work should be accomplished. Estimate manpower, equipment and material requirements. Devise and maintain all program plans and records, skilled in surveillance and troubleshooting techniques, and is able to determine maintenance/repair procedures needed without benefit of technical supervisory guidance. Plan, organize and direct shop maintenance programs/procedures under general supervision.
