Senior/Technical Sales Executive/Manager – SaaS Solutions
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior/Technical Sales Executive/Manager – SaaS Solutions with experience in selling energy technology products such as battery remote monitoring systems, smart charging management systems, and related SaaS solutions and software licenses. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding the company's footprint in the energy tech market, focusing on hardware solutions combined with software and cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales process for energy technology solutions, including battery monitoring systems, smart charging management systems, SaaS platforms, and software licenses for energy management and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in industries such as electric vehicle (EV) OEMs, fleet operators, utilities, and energy providers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on selling both hardware and software solutions (SaaS), leveraging market insights and customer needs.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to articulate the value proposition of both hardware and SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to ensure alignment on customer requirements and solution delivery.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets, including subscription sales for software platforms.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the industry curve and inform sales strategies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure, focusing on recurring revenue from SaaS subscriptions and software licenses.
- Provide post-sales support, ensuring smooth onboarding for SaaS platforms and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management, tracking key performance indicators(KPIs) such as customer acquisition, subscription renewals, and software license revenue.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A technical background is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on energy technology (battery monitoring systems, smart charging management) and SaaS platforms or software licenses.
- Proven track record of selling complex technical solutions that combine hardware and software (SaaS) components.
- Strong knowledge of subscription-based business models and experience managing recurring revenue streams from software sales.
- Existing network within industries such as EV OEMs, utilities, renewable energy companies, and energy storage providers.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and cultivating long-term client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling SaaS platforms related to energy management, IoT solutions, or charging infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud-based energy monitoring and data analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards in energy storage, smart charging, and renewable energy technologies.
