• Provides Regional advice and guidance to line and staff officers and other program managers in all aspects of the unit's grants and agreements to federal and non-federal agencies; state, local, and tribal governments; and other varying entities.
• Provides advice and guidance on the administrative aspects of partnership agreements including cooperative agreements, cost-share agreements, participating agreements, collection agreements, interagency agreements, and cooperative fire agreements.
• Exercises full and final authority to negotiate grants and agreements within the limits of delegated authority, reviews all reimbursement requests for appropriateness, and processes payments.
• Provides interpretation of laws and regulations concerning use of Federal funds and qualifying program expenditures. Determines appropriate legislative and program authority prior to execution of each grant or agreement.
• Develops instruments within the delegated authority, circularizes requests for proposals for grants and agreements, reviews and analyzes responses, and makes or recommends acceptance by higher authority as appropriate.
• Monitors and analyzes the effect of changes in laws, regulations and policies pertaining to grants and agreements, administration and management, and performance reporting.
• Plans and conducts annual meetings or workshops for agency personnel for maintaining partnership agreement and grant expertise
• Approves all official correspondence sent to partners, program personnel, and other interested parties relating to any specific case.
• Terminates grants and agreements as the situation dictates. Closes out grants and agreements within the established closeout procedures.

• Understands the high-level, technical and complex portfolio of IT systems within the Office of Patent Automation (OPA).
• Analyzes and evaluates data collection and statistical methodologies and develop new or improved data collection methods. Identify actual or potential problem areas for study and resolution.

Designs and implements structured and scientifically sound evaluations of AI systems. Evaluates models' existing safeguards in order to evaluate the effectiveness of those safeguards. Carries out red-team operations on AI systems using real world adversarial tactics and techniques to identify failures, vulnerabilities, and potential misuses. Refines and develops new red-teaming and safety-and-security evaluation software, products, workflows, and tools. Continuously adapts and improves techniques of red-teaming and evaluation, including to improve their efficiency and scalability. Collaborates with team members and across teams to develop innovative solutions to AI safety problems. Communicates complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Informs the development of technical guidelines and best practices for AI safety.

• Oversees and directs the development of a cohesive vision and strategies for the planning, design, presentation and implementation of RAIO and IDEA process improvements and subordinate staff on other program related activities.
• Directs the development of complex and sensitive adjudication processes and systems to support the vetting of applications, petitions, and requests for immigration benefits.
• Serves as an advisor to the RAIO Associate Director and RAIO Deputy Associate Director on a broad range of programs, projects and issues impacting RAIO processes and organizational effectiveness on key mission-related or administrative programs.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Complete psychosocial assessments and diagnostic interviews to assess trauma symptoms and PTSD.
• Use social work clinical training, insight, and experience to interpret data to identify treatment options.
• Implement treatment modalities, provide skill-based and evidenced-based psychotherapies in group and individual therapy for veterans and their families in the Trauma Recovery Services team, and as needed, the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) teams.
• Possess a working knowledge and experience in the use of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatment procedures, including acute, chronic, trauma and PTSD, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.

The Office of Acquisition Information Technology Services provides transformational system development, incremental system development, operational and management services for Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) business applications. The organization advises FAS leadership and program areas on IT tools that support and enhance FAS’s business operations. As a Management and Program Analyst (Information Systems), you will:

• Serves as an expert on regulations, requirements, and activities in HR systems administration and HR service delivery. Supports management's initiatives in developing HRIS and analyzes and evaluates related program initiatives.

As a Public Health Advisor you will:

• Lead the development of nationwide program operations and initiatives for assigned operating public health programs.

The Data Analyst will support program effectiveness and data-driven initiatives for the Office of Learning, Education, and Development Strategy (LEADS) within Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer(OCHCO). This position serves as a data analyst within the Training, Evaluation, and Assessment Metrics division for LEADS where they will help build on existing data processes to develop more efficient ways of capturing, storing, manipulating, and analyzing data related to DHS learning and development initiatives.
