What is the job role?

We are recruiting a Team Leader (Social work Qualified) for our Intake Team. This is an exciting time to join this fantastic and committed team who respond to safeguarding and changes in circumstances in relation with adults from age 18 years and upwards.

This is a full-time post (37hours) and you will lead a team of staff (social workers and Community Case workers) who respond to both Adult safeguarding and queries that arise on adults social cares caseload who are not allocated to a practitioner.

The role of a team leader is to support the safe and efficient running of the warehouse shift, focusing on agency colleagues whilst also supporting the Co-op team where required. You are a key link between the on-site office team and the warehouse operation. Your duties will include:

• Start of shift: Handover from the previous shift regarding any sickness, lateness, or ongoing issues. This includes assigning LLOPS, AMT issue, etc.
• Develop a teamwork ethos within the crew to ensure the team feel safe and enjoy working at Co-Op; focusing and leading the team on safety, performance, and accuracy.
• Leading the team to work productively through coaching, supporting, and sharing best practice so the team meet required targets and the crew remain efficient.
• Supporting new workers within their probation to highlight any additional training requirements
• Be proactive with problem solving and highlight any areas that could be having a negative impact on the shift
• Complete New Starter 'One to One' meetings and ensure a weekly informal check-in with Agency Workers during their learning curve to ensure the individuals performance and development is on track
• Holding meetings with Agency workers, including new starter reviews, informal reviews, disciplinaries and performance reviews.
• Managing performance by reviewing it every 2 hours and complete any required actions.
• Team Leaders will be given reports by the on-site agency contract team, from which they will manage any Still Time / Breaks Pre shift preparation:
• Check numbers and availability and confirm with the agency on-site team any changes to be made.
• Ensuring Agency Workers can work efficiently and safely. This includes engaging the cleaning team for spillages and participating in Clean as You Go rumbles.
• Actively participating in Health and Safety initiatives on site, including Pristine behavioral checks, MHE Pit stops and Rumbles
• Accident reporting and supporting Co-Op with any associated paperwork required for investigations. Outcomes and next steps are completed by the on-site team Managing congestion:
• Weekly 1:1 meeting with agency management team to discuss any focus areas and new starter plans
• Work in collaboration with the Co-op warehouse service team and shift managers/duty managers to ensure operating procedures are providing a service the customer requires
• Attend start of shift and end of shift meetings with the Co-Op site team Supporting the shift manager with any change to hours required on shift.
• Accessing live reports in relation to performance and breaks and escalating any issues or concerns to the Co-Op on shift Manager

What is the job role?

This is a rare and fabulous opportunity to join our Community Mental Health Teams in Coventry as a Team Manager.

You will manage a Team of professionals who work with people living with a range of mental health challenges including psychosis, mood disorders, and self-harming behaviours. The diverse team is fully multi-disciplinary and work towards specific interventions embracing human rights, promoting independence, strength-based recovery practices, Safeguarding, The Care Act, Mental Health and Mental Capacity Acts.

• You will be based at Swanswell Point and lead 2 Team Leaders, Approved Mental Health Professionals, Social Workers and Community Case Managers
• You will provide line management, professional supervision, reflective practice and quality assurance.
• You will be an Approved Mental Health Professional.
• You will have managerial experience and have the ability to work closely with our partner NHS agency, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, voluntary organisations, other statutory agencies and with groups, communities and individuals with lived experiences.
• You will support your team to address the social determinants of mental ill health, including housing, debt management, substance misuse and recovery based activities supporting people on their ‘best life’ journeys.
• You will work in partnership with people with lived experiences, co-producing, facilitating and promoting independence.
• You will help deliver the principles of the Care Act 2014, The Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act, you will support strength based practices within a least restrictive framework.
• You will be part of a Senior Management Team across Mental Health and Adult Social Care services and help develop quality assurance and have a strategic vision.
