Senior Electoral Services Officer
PO2: Starting salary £43,542 pa rising in annual increments to £46,437 per annum incl LW
Do you want to develop your knowledge, experience and skills in a dynamic and people-focused London electoral services team?
Lambeth is looking for a well organised and experienced individual to lead in strategic and operational electoral registration activities, the conduct of elections and delivery of our ongoing service improvement programme.
Acting as senior team support, you’ll need excellent analytical, operational and problem-solving skills to meet a range of daily challenges, including the year-round electoral registration, the conduct of elections and referenda and continuous service improvement.
You’ll have a proven track record in electoral registration and elections or suitable transferrable skills and experience. You’ll also currently hold or be willing to work towards gaining the AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration.
Additionally, you must be able to work flexibly, particularly at election times when significant evening and weekend working is required.

You’ll be a thorough and proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a good eye for detail. You must be able to demonstrate:
- The ability to deliver high quality work within strict deadlines.
- An ability to work well as part of a dynamic and professional team.
- Ability to use information technology and data to achieve excellent results.
- Knowledge/understanding of best practice and quality assurance in service delivery and customer care.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet changing requirements at peak times.
