At our specialist service in Perranporth, we support adults with learning disabilities/ Autism who may exhibit behaviours that can challenge. Tarrant House is a Residential Care Home consisting of seven rooms within the main house, which have been tailored to suit each person’s individual personality and needs.
What you’ll be doing:
• Assist in managing the care of the people that live with us, monitoring the quality and delivery of the service.
• Developing and implementing person centred care plans.
• Lead by example, motivate and develop the team to deliver a high-quality provision.
• Mentoring and training team members.
• Supporting management with the overall running on the service.
• Taking on administrative roles such as audits, reviewing risk assessments and support plans.
• Promoting independence with the people we support with all aspects of personal care, cooking, cleaning, key working and general life skills.
• Ensuring proactive, flexible, positive and caring support is provided to adults living in our service.
• Working effectively as part of a team and with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Who you are:
• An existing Senior Support worker or an experienced Support Worker looking to progress.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude.
• A motivated and passionate individual that can make a difference to the lives of the people we support.
• An NVQ level 3 or equivalent in health and social care is desirable but not essential.
• A valid driving license is not essential, but due to the location and nature of the service, Drivers are preferred.
