Bydd hyn yn cynnwys sicrhau fod gan y Cyngor broses Adfer ar ôl Trychineb effeithiol ac wedi’i phrofi. Bydd eich cyfrifoldebau yn cynnwys cynorthwyo datblygiad y sail sgiliau ar draws y Gwasanaeth TG a Thrawsnewid Digidol er mwyn helpu i wireddu potensial cydweithwyr.
Bydd gennych ddealltwriaeth dda o dechnolegau copïau wrth gefn a gweinydd rhithiol, ynghyd â bod yn gyfarwydd â thechnolegau ar y cwmwl. Dylech fod yn unigolyn llawn ysgogiad a threfnus gydag ymagwedd “gallu gwneud”. Byddwch yn meddu ar y gallu i ddarparu prosiectau a thasgau i fodloni amcanion cytunedig o fewn terfynau amser cytunedig.

Dylech fod wedi cymhwyso i lefel Gradd mewn Cyfrifiadura neu bwnc perthnasol neu fod yn gallu dangos profiad cyfwerth â gofynion y rôl. Byddai tystysgrif mewn TG a/neu gymhwyster neu brofiad o reoli rhaglenni a phrosiectau yn ddymunol ar gyfer y swydd hon.
Mae sgiliau cyfathrebu Saesneg da yn ysgrifenedig ac ar lafar yn hanfodol, a byddai’r gallu i siarad ac ysgrifennu yn Gymraeg yn ddymunol er mwyn cynorthwyo’r Adran i ddarparu gwasanaeth dwyieithog i’r cleientiaid

To support our vision to be a progressive County creating opportunity we’re looking to appoint a Senior IT & Digital Transformation Analyst to lead on IT Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery.
You will lead a team of IT specialists to support and develop the Authority’s server and backup infrastructure, incorporating those in many of our schools. This will include ensuring the Council has an effective and tested Disaster Recovery process. Your resonsibilities will also include assisting the development of the skills base across the IT and Digital Transformation Service to help realise colleagues’ potential.
You will have a good understanding of server virtualisation and backup technologies, along with familiarity of cloud hosted technologies. You should be highly motivated and organised with a “can do” attitude. You will possess proven ability to deliver projects and tasks to meet agreed objectives within agreed deadlines.
You will understand the importance of a resilient and secure IT and DT Service and will participate in rota’d cover to act as a first point of contact where issues arise outside office hours.
You should be qualified to degree level in a computing related subject or be able to demonstrate experience commensurate with the role. IT certifications and/or programme or project/process management related qualifications or experience are also desirable for this role.
Good communication skills in written and spoken English are essential and the ability to speak and write through the medium of Welsh would be desirable in assisting the Department to provide a bilingual service to clients.
