A fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Green Estate Supervisor to join our flagship TfL HMF contract. This role will involve supervising all aspects of Green Estate delivery including cyclical and reactive arboriculture and horticultural maintenance. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our Beddington Lane depot in Croydon, South London.

The duties of the Trainee Green Estate Supervisor role will include:

-Supervising the cyclical activities such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, shrub and planted area maintenance, annual tree & shrub surveys, tree planting as well as any arb/hort reactive works

-Ensuring that the Core Services Manager, Planner and client are kept up to date and informed of all matters relating to the delivery of the contract

Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading Housing Association in the North London / Essex area who are looking for a brand new Trainee Surveyor to join their team covering Damp and Mould projects.

They are looking for an Trainee Surveyor who has previous experience working on Social Housing Damp works projects.

Duties:

• To assist with all surveying duties within the housing stock and carry out any technical inspections on the planned works projects
• To provide summary reports where required of all on-going managed cases and technical de-canted properties outlining levels of performance of the contractors and performance manage contractors delivering repairs to ensure strict timelines of completions are adhered to
• To undertake technical inspections of the homes including all leased properties to distinguish planned works in line with the companies Policy's
• Commercial Awareness within Reactive Repairs and Damp and Mould projects
• To liaise, monitor and progress all planned maintenance to the home's regeneration stock through its DLO and partnering contractors

Key Knowledge:

• Previous Social Housing experience required
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach to work
• Proven track record for being Reliable and punctual
• Must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Experience working on repairs, damp and mould projects
• IT Literate

Clinical Practice 1. Contribute to the provision of individualised pain management by providing assessment, planning, evaluation, and support for patients with complex health-care needs. 2. Manage, with support, your own patient caseload, working collaboratively with the Pain Team to ensure your patients have a pain management plan which is accurately documented in thepatients medical records. Follow-up your patients as clinically indicated. 3. Provide pain management advice, collaborating and negotiating with other healthcare professionals to improve pain management for patients. 4. Educate clinical staff in the principles of effective pain management. Train and support clinical staff in the safe and effective use of advanced pain management techniques including patient controlled analgesia, epidural infusions and regional infusions. 5. Act as a role model for clinical staff within the Trust and externally. Be visible and approachable in clinical areas. 6. Actively contribute to multi-professional approaches to pain management for patients referred to the pain service. 7. Communicate clearly with patients and their carers, keeping in mind the sensitive and complex nature of their pain management needs. 8. Utilise good communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), other staff, departments, and outside organisations. 9. Contribute to the development of pain service policies, ensuring that they reflect current evidence-based practice. Participate in the validation and implementation of pain service guidelines and policies. 10. Participate in the development of strategies to enhance the standard of pain management within the Trust, whilst ensuring equity of access to the service. 11. Participate in the provision of nurse-led outpatient pain clinics and interventions. 12. Actively seek feedback from service users to evaluate their experience of the current service and make suggestions for service improvement. 13. Recognise your own clinical limitations, and seek advice from senior team members, or other professionals as needed. 14. Be professionally accountable, make appropriate clinical decisions and maintain contemporaneous records as an autonomous practitioner. 15. Ensure that the Trust values of kindness, respect and teamwork are evident in your clinical practice and your interactions with others.
