Key Responsibilities:

Project Engineer Duties:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned of projects.
• To liaise and coordinate with client, consultant, and contractors.
• To ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the drawings, construction plans, procedures, and specification. 
• Prepare daily report. 
• Attend site meetings 
• Implement, monitor and control of project site to ensure compliance with budget, quality, timely completion and safety requirement. 
• Execute assignment according to work schedule through proper planning.
• Ad-hoc related engineer task. 
• Organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. 

Qualifications:

• Proven experienced in a project engineer role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Candidates must possess with bachelor’s degree in mechanical and civil of study. 
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

UMJ Engineering is currently looking for Document Controller with the following requirements. This is a on-site role as a Document Controller located in Johor Bharu, Malaysia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• In depth knowledge of fire protection system and associated documentation requirements
• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu. Good proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
• Willing to travel and can work under pressure
• Ready to join immediately
• Possess problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
• High self-discipline, independent and must be able to work overtime as needed

Job Responsibility

• Manage and organize all documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with company standard
• Provide administrative support to the Project Team and Project Manager.
• Responsible for collection and compilation of as-built drawings & records for project handing over documentation matters.
• Upkeep and maintain all existing project schedules
• Process all incoming and outgoing document within the required time period and in accordance with project requirement and procedure
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
