The Customer Service/Technical Support Agent will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by efficiently managing customer inquiries, bookings, and technical support related to EDExams. This role also involves invigilation, exam administration, and assisting in the creation and reporting of examinations. You will work closely with candidates, educational centres, and internal teams to facilitate a smooth exam experience, while maintaining a customer-centric and solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritise and process customer exam bookings and requests submitted via the online booking system.
• Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records, ensuring data privacy and security at all times.
• Use database systems and technology to provide exceptional customer care and technical support via telephone, email, live chat, and screen-sharing software.
• Assist customers with the installation and setup of the EDExams application and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Liaise with candidates and exam centres to arrange examination sittings and manage correspondence as needed.
• Check and confirm exam availability for customer sittings.

The role

The school
Woodlands Primary School is a 2-form entry primary and nursery for children aged 2-11 in the vibrant South Sheffield community of Gleadless Valley. This popular and over-subscribed school has around 500 pupils. In February 2022, Ofsted graded our school as strongly Good.
Woodlands Primary School is a part of Mercia Learning Trust, a successful partnership of four primary and three secondary schools located in the south-west of Sheffield. Established in 2012, with one secondary school, our trust has grown to serve over 5000 pupils, with 650 staff.

The role
Woodlands Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, talented and caring candidate to join our team as a teaching assistant level 3 for a maternity cover.
This role is to work as part of a team of teaching assistants and alongside class teachers to assist with the teaching and support of children with a wide range of special educational needs in our specialist resource provision. The children with whom you would be working will have specific needs which may include autism, ADHD, learning and speech difficulties, social, emotional and behavioural needs. You will be required to understand and support children facing these barriers. A desire to provide the best for and develop great relationships with children whose behaviours can be challenging will be essential.

We are excited to announce we are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Student Support Officer. This is a permanent, full time role.
This role is term time only, 39 weeks.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for promoting an optimal learning environment and acting as a deterrent to unsafe or unacceptable behaviour by monitoring designated areas. In addition, you will be required to provide individual support to learners and signpost learners to the relevant support needs.
You will help support and guide student behaviour, whilst encouraging commitment and punctuality amongst our learners.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Given the nature of this role we require someone who is passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people. You will ideally hold a First Aid at Work Certificate and demonstrate the ability to respond to incidents/ accidents when required. You’ll also have experience in a similar role and setting. Finally, you’ll possess recent and relevant experience of working within a team as well as the ability to demonstrate good communications skills with persons on all levels.

The East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre (SILC) is a 2-19 generic special school with 442 pupils on roll. All our pupils have special learning needs and some have physical/ medical difficulties. The East SILC is a complex organisation which operates on a variety of sites to provide a range of outreach services across the city, including partnerships with primary and secondary providers, the city-wide Physical Difficulties and Medical Service including a moving and handling service, as well as the Medical Needs Teaching Service for Leeds.Do you want to join a team making a difference to children and young people’s lives?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Cover Supervisors to be appointed at the East SILC. The majority of our pupils have learning difficulties, and some have physical difficulties.
The Cover Supervisor will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Senior Learning Support Leads (SLSLs) and teachers to provide cover for whole classes during the planned or unplanned absence of teachers and/or teaching staff. Cover Supervisors may also be required to cover other roles which support learning as directed by the Senior Leadership Team.
