Shifts on offer*: Monday to Sundays: Days 8am - 6pm. Monday to Friday: Nights 10pm - 8am. Saturday to Sunday 7pm - 7pm.

About the Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant within the Erdingtons area who can support a Paediatric male service user in his mid teens who has Cerebral Palsey, Lenox Gastaut Syndorme and would require support with complex needs, such as PEG, Oxygen, Nebulisers and more. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within her own home and especially within the community.

Activities will include, Moving and Handling, Personal Care, but most importantly, suggesting new ideas and opportunities that serve the service users' best interests, by going above and beyond.

He is non-verbal, which you will then need to communicate with him effectively and appropriately. You will also be given the oppurtunity to build a positive relationship with the Service User and his family. We are looking for someone with a big and bubbly personality who at the same time will be responsible, accountable and on the ball.
