Job Description Summary
The team is seeking a full time Senior Financial Analyst. The role offers candidates the opportunity to lead the underwriting of current and future sale assignments, develop Broker Opinion of Value presentations, and create detailed Offering Memorandums. Candidates will be expected to interact with clients in a professional manner and be able to effectively communicate key financial terms and market conditions. The Senior Financial Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in client pitches and develop new client relationships (if desired).
Successful analysts will have exceptional attention to detail, good communication skills (both oral and written), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must also have extensive and proven commercial real estate and ARGUS experience.

The Opportunity
C&W presents a rare opportunity to join one of the top brokerage teams as a Senior Financial Analyst in Greater Los Angeles. The team focuses on value-add, heavy redevelopment, and ground-up development sales across multiple product types (industrial, office, multifamily, hospitality) in the Los Angeles region. The Senior Financial Analyst position provides an opportunity to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, highly productive sales team environment. This is a client-facing role with tremendous future upside potential (if desired).
Primary Job Description
Primary Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop cash flow analysis in ARGUS Enterprise and Excel
• Collect, organize and analyze lease and financial information
• Interact with agents and owners to develop assumptions for cash flow models
• Prepare Broker Opinion of Value presentations for clients
• Write financial and market analysis narratives
• Research and analyze comparable lease and sale data
• Manage and monitor process checklists and marketing timelines
• Manage project due diligence requirements
• Provide sales process support, as well as managing escrows and select client relationships

Competencies
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments

• Exceptional analytical skills (Argus Enterprise and Excel)
• Several years’ experience with creating and modeling detailed discounted cash flows
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements and leases
• General understanding of the key valuation drivers for various property types
• Ability to operate efficiently both individually and as part of a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills
Background and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred)
• 3 or more years of commercial real estate experience
• Complex financial modeling experience in Argus Enterprise and Excel; office, multifamily, industrial underwriting experience preferred
• Experience using CoStar and Real Capital Analytics is a plus
• California Real Estate Salesperson’s License, or ability to obtain one within six months of employment

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $97,750.00 - $115,000.00
