We’re looking for an Associate Director to build on the strong platform we have in our Data & Analytics work. That will require excellent analytical skills and equally, a well-developed ability to work closely with and support colleagues across the organisation in their work too. Many of the reports we produce are Official Statistics and the role of Associate Director Data Analytics & Research also acts as Head of Profession for Statistics, taking responsibility for the publication of these reports.

• You’ll have expert analytical ability and be very comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative data – it’s analysis and presentation.
• An extensive track record of effective design and delivery of data solutions and statistical publications.
• Demonstrable experience of collecting, analysing and interpreting large data sets using computational statistical software tools such as R and/or Python.
• Experience in data privacy and data governance.
• You’ll be excited to innovate, develop new approaches and engage in analytical challenges.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and motivated Lead teacher to join our strong Science team. As an outstanding classroom practitioner in all Key Stages the Lead Teacher will work with colleagues to improve and secure pupil outcomes, primarily via the development of the quality of teaching and learning through coaching and mentoring of colleagues and trainee teachers across the school. In addition, to play a major role supporting the leaders of teaching and learning in developing the strategic direction for T&L and to work with teachers across the school in collaborative planning, curriculum development and assessment, planning and moderation.

The Coventry Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) is a part of a national programme funded until 2027 by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). It aims to increase the use of research in councils, so services are better and fairer and can help people have better life chances.

The multiskilled HDRC team is based in the Public Health Department of the council. The team is responsible for developing and managing the work programme of the HDRC, working with the Coventry University, the University of Warwick, as well as other partners from the community and voluntary sectors, NHS, other councils and universities.

What is the job role?

We are looking for a Project Assistant to work as part of the Coventry HDRC.

The important role will support the Coventry HDRC team in organisation, coordination and administration of key functions of HDRC. The role will ensure the smooth running of the require working with people from a range of organisations including universities, hospitals as well as statutory and voluntary agencies.

There is opportunity to help develop new processes such as the management and advice to research projects.

It is a 2-year fixed term contract/secondment with possible extension.

Hays Education has recently seen an increased need for local Science Teachers in Schools across Warwickshire for day-to-day and long-term supply with the potential for permanent contracts.
Here at Hays, we work with several schools across Warwickshire, covering the areas of Coventry and Leamington Spa, and everywhere in between! This means as a Teacher working through Hays you will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in Coventry with high expectations, with the aim of building their students' future and success through exceptional experiences. The school is smaller, which allows teachers to build learning relationships with students, make rapid progress and provide additional support if needed. Each member of staff are passionate, driven and knowledgeable within their subject specialism to all-year groups to ensure all students are successful.


Your new role
We are recruiting for a full-time Science teacher to join the team starting ASAP, or at the latest January 2024 for 1 term, with the potential for extension. We are looking for experienced people who are motivated to support and inspire students across varied age ranges.
The assigned person will be expected to make a positive impact to the academic progression of KS3 and KS4 students. You will be able to provide additional attention to specific students when needed, build student relationships and encourage all.
You will be responsible for planning exciting and interesting lessons to engage pupils in their learning. You must be able to passionately deliver your lessons with enthusiasm and be able to drive pupils to achieve their full potential.
On a long-term supply basis you will be required to fulfil an active teaching role including planning, marking and assessment, PPA time will be included.


What you'll need to succeed
The appointed candidate will have full Qualified Teaching Status and be familiar with the current curriculum changes. Hays Education welcomes applications from ECT's and experienced Teachers!
You will have experience of providing support and high-quality lesson plans and a drive to make a difference through teaching. You must ideally be flexible and adaptable to changing timetables.
