Qualifications Required: Possess an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in the relevant discipline, and Good understanding of the relevant subject area or aptitude for learning the relevant aspects of those subjects
Salary: Grade 3 £24,404 to £25,183 per annum pro rata (Actual Salary £20,990) We currently have an exciting opportunity for a competent and organised Science Technician to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy, starting as soon as possible.
The post holder will report to the Headteacher, Curriculum Leader, or Teacher where relevant. Main contacts of the post are: Headteacher, Teaching staff, other Associate staff and pupils.
The candidate will:
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders in order to support students to become creative, happy & successful
- Under the direction of senior staff, provide technical support in a specific curriculum or resource area, including preparation and maintenance of resources and to provide general support to staff and pupils
- Make a key contribution to the development and support of the school through the provision of technical support in a specific curriculum or resource area
