R&D – Senior Staff Engineer – Design Verification

Responsibilities:

· Craft test plans to construct robust testbench environments using System Verilog and the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).

· Integrate third-party VIPs, automate the test environment for efficient boarding, and leverage your in-depth knowledge of SoC architectures, including AMBA AXI/AHB/APB protocols, DMAs, security mechanisms, clock management, and power-gating techniques.

· Develop cutting-edge drivers, monitors, predictors, and scoreboards using UVM, ensuring comprehensive verification coverage and functionality validation.

· Craft innovative tests to evaluate power and performance aspects, guaranteeing optimal efficiency and real-world reliability.

Requirements

We are looking for a R&D Engineer as we are setting up our R&D center in Singapore. Applying Engineers MUST be very familiar with cables, connectors and wire harness products. Work experience in cables, connectors or wire harness industry is required. Must have the ability to develop new products. Pro-active, Can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• The design verification engineer is expected to check, test, and gate the product design for both performance and reliability.
• Draft a test plan to cover each feature in product spec, certification requirement, and customer application.
• Support on DFMEA documentation draft and maintenance.
• Test products' electrical & mechanical performance and reliability with lab equipment such as multi-meter, integrating sphere, oscilloscope, and environmental chamber.
• Testing equipment management & maintenance.
• Follow up on the quality issues found and verify the effectiveness of corrective action.
• Give quality input during the early design stage to avoid potential quality issues.
• Update & deliver the test reports to the project lead and define the quality level of R&D stages.
