• Serves as a Fire Prevention Inspector working a 60-hour week, providing Fire and Emergency Services to the organization.
• Plans, schedules and conducts fire prevention inspections of facilities and operations.

As a Public Health Analyst (Policy) you will:

• Provide leadership, direction, and management for the organization in the development and maintenance of public health initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Performs air traffic control duties in the control tower. Directs movement of aircraft in flight and on the ground by utilizing pilot and controller reports, visual observation, and/or tower displays, or a combination of methods and in close coordination with other controllers. Under restrictive time and space limitations, formulates and issues ATC clearances and instructions to provide for the required separation and or sequencing of all IFR and VFR traffic within delegated airspace. Assigns arrival and departure runways to various types of aircraft and adjusts speed to accommodate multiple types and performance level of civilian and military aircraft to affect separation and expeditious traffic flow as prescribed by regulation. Provides assistance to both experienced professional and inexperienced student pilots within the airspace and ensures expeditious traffic flows are maintained. Provides mandatory additional services and assistance to aircraft to include those experiencing in-flight emergencies, hijacking and unlawful seizure, pilot disorientation, and to those aircraft otherwise experiencing distress during flight. Assist adjacent ATC facilities in locating and recovering aircraft that are disoriented and/or in distress. Participates in a host of Transportation Security Agency (TSA) and FAA mandated homeland security procedures and implements Federal and local guidance and direction for aircraft operations within terminal areas. Formulates/relays/issues air traffic clearances and instructions in facility of assignment for aircraft operating IFR and/or VFR in addition to VFR advisory information. Formulates and issue all ground movement clearances to aircraft on the ground, vehicular, and personnel operating on the movement areas and runways.

2. Executes the standardized ATC training program in accordance with guidelines established by regulations of the Department of Army (DA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Incumbent is responsible for the utilization of training materials that ensure controller-trainees are adequately trained and tested with the goal of creating a cohesive ATC team that provides multi-level ATC services to the aviation customer. Incumbent ensures all newly assigned trainees receive training in accordance with applicable regulations. Incumbent executes controller qualification, proficiency, and remedial training. Completion of training results in newly assigned personnel receiving their Control Tower Operator (CTO) certifications within prescribed time limits or elimination actions that require documentation of performance deficiencies. Assigns study assignments and administers practical exams to trainees to ensure proficiency is maintained. Conducts proficiency training on changes to FAA, DOD and DA regulations and provides guidance on implementation. Administers DA Form 3479-1, Trainee/Controller Evaluation and makes entries in accordance with TC 3-04.81; provides on-the-job training instruction and guidance to trainee controllers involved in qualification training for their FAA CTO certificate.

3. Operates, trains, and provides preventative maintenance on a host of automated communications and display hardware and software systems that are integral and vital to the operation of the air traffic control facility. Maintains communications with aircraft and adjacent facilities to transmit and receive instructions and information relative to flight. Determines when backup or alternate communications are required and places same in operation as appropriate. Investigates possible equipment outages and issues appropriate advisories to aircraft. Ensures adjacent facilities and aircraft operators are advised of additional support requirements during equipment outages. Provides training on systems to ensure controllers understand and apply correct equipment system operations.

4. Evaluates weather reports from automated (ASOS, AWADS, IDS, etc.) or other sources (i.e. Pilot Reports) and ensures weather information is accurate, specific, and timely. Modifies, corrects, or augments as appropriate for official weather reporting. Provides dissemination of weather warnings, Center Weather Advisories (CWA), Significant Meteorological Information (SIGMET), or Meteorological Information (MET) watch advisories. Requests, records, and disseminates Pilot Reports (PIREPS) as mandated by FAA and NWS directives.

5. Conducts and directs aircraft mishap and hazardous air traffic systems reporting. Serves as the focal point on the airfield for ground or airborne aircraft mishaps, system reports on hazardous air traffic activities, and ATC and pilot incident inquiries. Ensures accurate and timely reports to agencies or various local, state, and federal departments having oversight responsibility.

6. Performs other as duties as assigned.

• Plans, coordinates, and/or conducts all aircrew and flight inspection technician familiarization training for assigned military personnel in accordance with FAA approved courses of study and the Aircrew Training Program (ATP).

As a Joint Interface Control Analyst, GS-0301-12, you will apply broad and expansive knowledge and education of military, civil, and data link capabilities in support of AOC operations. Responsible to the CONR JICO in the daily execution and personnel training of the multi-TDL operation in and around the CONUS which includes working with all U.S. and Canadian military services. Responsible for conducting the continued planning, re-planning and problem resolution to establish, execute, and maintain an effective long-term CONR data link architecture and OPTASKLINK in the face of technology change, increasing amount of data link assets, and increasingly complex operational interoperability issues. Responsible to maintain an understanding of the various weapon systems' data link capabilities and limiting factors with regards to protocols, bandwidth, and message implementation. Responsible to maintain functional knowledge of AOC command and control (C2) equipment in the nee cell and HCC equipment room. This includes operations, test and training with regards to appropriate message filters, network data load, crypto, assigned frequency, and network timing. Responsible to act as the watch officer responsible for the daily operation of the nee and for providing an accurate single integrated air picture (SIAP) to all network participants in and around the CONUS to maintainairspace control and safety of flight for operational and training assets. Authorizes and directs real-time changes to OPTASKLINK parameters to include data load, crypto, frequency, time slots, or network timing to trouble shoot and deconflict multi-TDL operations, test and training across the area of operation. This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. Duties involve complex inspection work, requiring a wide variety of inspection processes and techniques, at remote worksites or field installations where a supervisor is not readily available. In these situations, work is performed very independently and decisions require a wide range of subjective judgments.

Inspects a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles such as attack tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, armored vehicle launched bridges, bulldozers, road graders, crawler tractors, power shovels, self propelled earth compacting equipment, self propelled artillery, etc. May also inspect heavy artillery, small arms, powered support and other equipment or components of equal or lesser complexity.

Inspects complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems, equipment and their components while in operation or in a standby condition. Inspects and performs tests to braking, steering, and differential systems, which are mechanically integrated with the transmission; to large engines that directly power multiple hydraulic and pneumatic systems; to intricate fuel injection systems; to turret stabilization systems; and to other systems combined in a single, complex mechanical assembly. Uses specially designed testing methods and test equipment such as computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, etc., to assure that tolerance and safety factors have been met.

Inspects equipment to determine repairs needed. Utilizes established Maintenance Expenditure Limits (MEL) to evaluate economic feasibility of repair(s). Considers a variety of factors such as cost and availability of parts, man-hours, and impact of time constraints on the mission to assess whether repair is economical. Recommends to a higher echelon to condemn equipment when the repair cost exceeds the established MEL. Prepares lists of needed repairs, parts, and man-hours authorized. Performs in-process inspections to assure that equipment is being repaired in accordance with pertinent requirements. Performs final inspection, certifying that equipment is in satisfactory operating condition, or rejects the work and returns the equipment to the repair shop with specific reports prescribing additional repairs.

As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Officer, GS-2101-12, you will administer refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record. Instructs and evaluates all AOC specialists to become instructors. Instructs such personnel to function within established joint doctrinal principles to plan and prosecute theater-level joint operations. Monitors progress during training and advises when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification.

As a Public Health Analyst (Policy) you will:
