A Cabin Safety Inspector duties involve developing, administering, or enforcing regulations and standards concerning cabin safety policy and operations, including safety aspects of aviation facilities, equipment, and procedures. Aviation Safety Inspectors apply a broad knowledge of the aviation industry, the general principle of aviation safety and the Federal laws, regulations and policies affecting aviation.

Responsible for the total airworthiness of Aero Club aircraft. Plans, organizes and directs task as required. Assures task are completed within the require time frames and reviews the work of aircraft mechanics to ensure completion. Troubleshoots and determines when the nature and scope of repair can be handled personally or should involve other mechanics; and coordinates their work as necessary. Serves as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and hydralic repairs to Aero Club aircraft. Inspects major system components and parts for defects, serviceability, and proper installation using technical manual and following appropriate inspection procedures. May taxi aircraft during run-up. Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials identified during preparation for flight. Maintain records of maintenance inspections performed on assigned aircraft as required. Inspects maintenance record entries made by aircraft mechanics to ensure records are accurate and timely. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. Uses and assures proper fit of required safety equipment and clothing. Follows federal and State rules when storing, using, handling, labeling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with environmental standards. Performs clean-up duties such as cleaning equipment, sweeping, straightening, and lining u tools in the assigned area. Instructs Airframe and Powerplant School. Instructs a complete airframe and powerplant certification course. Develops lesson plans based on course requirements. Evaluates student progress. Administers oral and practical exams to students in accordance with FAA guidelines leading to A&P certification.

As a Joint Interface Control Analyst, GS-0301-12, you will apply broad and expansive knowledge and education of military, civil, and data link capabilities in support of AOC operations. Responsible to the CONR JICO in the daily execution and personnel training of the multi-TDL operation in and around the CONUS which includes working with all U.S. and Canadian military services. Responsible for conducting the continued planning, re-planning and problem resolution to establish, execute, and maintain an effective long-term CONR data link architecture and OPTASKLINK in the face of technology change, increasing amount of data link assets, and increasingly complex operational interoperability issues. Responsible to maintain an understanding of the various weapon systems' data link capabilities and limiting factors with regards to protocols, bandwidth, and message implementation. Responsible to maintain functional knowledge of AOC command and control (C2) equipment in the nee cell and HCC equipment room. This includes operations, test and training with regards to appropriate message filters, network data load, crypto, assigned frequency, and network timing. Responsible to act as the watch officer responsible for the daily operation of the nee and for providing an accurate single integrated air picture (SIAP) to all network participants in and around the CONUS to maintainairspace control and safety of flight for operational and training assets. Authorizes and directs real-time changes to OPTASKLINK parameters to include data load, crypto, frequency, time slots, or network timing to trouble shoot and deconflict multi-TDL operations, test and training across the area of operation. As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Officer, GS-2101-12, you will administer refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record. Instructs and evaluates all AOC specialists to become instructors. Instructs such personnel to function within established joint doctrinal principles to plan and prosecute theater-level joint operations. 1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19. Conducts an information program to elicit support and involvement in fire prevention, detection, and suppression. Secures client interest through emphasis of pertinent fire prevention topics and developing messages from actual fire incidents.

2. Performs regular and periodic fire protection inspections for all areas of the installation where the potential severity and expectancy for fire is high and involves hazards that are difficult to recognize and, once identified, require advanced or innovative methods to reduce or eliminate them.

3. Inspects, tests, and corrects deficiencies on a variety of fire protection systems, many of which are complex or designed for a specific operation or hazardous condition, (e.g., carbon dioxide cascade systems, halon total flood systems, heat rise detection systems, and interlock systems).
