As a Financial Compliance Manager (Chief, Office of Compliance), you will:

• Direct and monitor the Bureau's internal control, product accountability, and internal quality audit program to provide reasonable assurance that assets are safeguarded from loss, misuse, or misappropriation, and to ensure conformance with the Bureau's quality management system.

We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and talented individual to be the Supervisory Contract Specialist for OIG's Management and Planning Division (M&P). M&P provides expert consultative advice to the Inspector General and senior OIG leadership on administrative and fiscal policy, and provides direct administrative services in support of the important work performed by the OIG's nationwide workforce. This position is located in M&P's Office of Administrative Services (OAS), which provides direction and support to the varied responsibilities in the OAS portfolio including facilities management and building services, contracting and procurement, property management, voice telecommunications, transportation and parking, logistics, occupational safety programs, mail, printing, and audio visual and publications support. These investigations focus on a wide range of matters including health care, procurement, benefits, education, construction, and other fraud; cybercrime and identity theft; bribery, embezzlement, and conflicts of interest; drug offenses; and violent crimes. OI is staffed by special agents, forensic accountants, analysts, and other professional staff in headquarters divisions and regional field offices that use data analytics, cyber-tools, covert operations, and other strategies to detect and address conduct that poses a threat to or has harmed VA personnel, operations, and the veterans or other beneficiaries they service.
