DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support specialist confidentiality and privacy by design advice on the implementation of the IG legal framework, IG national policy requirements, new Statutory Guidance, organisational standards, policies and controls across internal and external facing operational services. Draft and publish IG advice in response to IG queries received, emerging trends and new national guidelines from across the organisation. Support strategic advice to the Freedom of Information (FOI) lead and key stakeholders on complex requests, internal reviews and ICO investigations. Reporting assurances/gaps on outcomes of best practice and standards set out in policy and procedures to Divisional leads and Caldicott panel. Plan and deliver training to Trust staff at all levels, through a variety of formats designed to meet the specific needs of the organisation with reference to GDPR and FOI. Provide leadership in managing the statutory information requests function of the IG Team, including FOI, information rights requests. Provide assurance on Information Governance and Statutory Guidance compliance through a schedule of assurance reviews and activity, including in respect of high-risk processing, internal data protection audits, and audits of data use and sharing, both internal and external to the Trust. Assist assurance for Digital Services Leads and Information Asset Owners in their compliance against standards, through peer reviews, engagement with audits, advice and guidance of compliance management. Drive compliance with the Confidentiality elements of the Data Security & Protection Toolkit (DSPT or equivalent) requirements and support work to co-ordinate and assure the Trust annual DSPT or equivalent submission. Work Collaboratively with Divisions to evidence their compliance with principles of the DSPT and the Digital teams on wider components Lead on maintenance of the Trust Register of Processing Activities (RoPa) including reviews of Data Flows, within Divisions, from Systems and provision of data sets supporting audit/research/analysis. Being the lead for establishing correct legal basis for any processing of data, inclusive of use of consent and national data opt out. Collaborate with key Stake Holders (internal and external to the Trust) on Supply Chain Risks. Considering current supplier due diligence requirements, on boarding the Information Asset Owners (IAOs) with key programmes of assurance and maintaining accuracy of the Information Asset Register.

Work with the Practice Manager to oversee the development and implementation of practice strategy, policies and procedures in relation to: data entry and collection, compliance, regulation and performance monitoring, including Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and Impact and Investment Fund (IIF). Support Partners and the Practice Manager in meeting local, national and organisational targets in relation to compliance, regulation, performance and information governance. Develop and deliver a focussed and relevant compliance framework to enable the practice to meet CQC and contractual inspection and audit requirements, including primary care quality visits, infection control audits etc. Delivery of in-house training required for staff to ensure the appropriate levels of engagement and support are in place for effective compliance. Contribute to the preparation and updating of Practice Development Plans and oversee the implementation of the aims and objectives in relation to Quality and compliance. Foster an environment within the team that supports staff development and encourages ideas and takes account of staff opinions. To support Safeguarding with administrative support in ensuring safeguarding processes are followed and information requests are responded to within timeframes set. Data: Work with colleagues to ensure accurate data is available to underpin effective performance management, compliance and risk management, supporting continuous improvement of practice activities. Have oversight of data quality across the practice and support teams to achieve good data quality providing guidance as required. Incident Management: Oversee the practices incident management and significant event reporting systems, liaising with staff to ensure all incidents are recorded and processed in line with policy. Oversee data and produce management reports on incidents as requested. Encourage a culture of continuous learning through incidents by establishing appropriate frameworks and assisting managers in implementing them. Information Governance: Work closely with the management team, ensuring compliance with information governance standards across the practice. To maintain, complete and submit the practices Data Security Protection Toolkit submission on behalf of the practice. Act as the practices lead for information governance and data protection issues and submit any data returns required. Policy and Procedure: Support colleagues to understand and implement organisation standards, policies and procedures, including where appropriate the delivery of training and advice sessions. Assist the Practice Manager in all HR and Recruitment procedures, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place. Liaise with our HR partners Peninsula when required to seek advice/guidance on employment/HR issues.

We're looking for a fire compliance manager to join our property team. As owners of one of the UK's largest commercial property portfolios, we've got a big job on our hands transforming the Co-op estate to make it fit for the future. In this role, you'll be responsible for making sure all areas of our diverse property portfolio are compliant, making sure fire risks are effectively identified and managed. What you'll do

* lead the fire risk management compliance category to make sure our properties are fully compliant, taking responsibility for the end to end process for fire risk management across our estate
* manage and maintain our CAFM and compliance management systems, keeping dashboards and trackers updated
* provide technical and delivery management support across multiple delivery workstreams such as facilities management, construction, and capital delivery
* support internal technical investigations and assessments when incidents arise
* maintain and validate internal fire related compliance policies and procedures
* provide technical support and expertise at compliance working group meetings, as well as attending technical review meetings
* partner closely with our contractors, Co-op contract managers, internal supply chain teams, and internal risk teams in a collaborative way
* deliver the requirements of Co-op's Compliance Management Procedures and Third Party Supplier Management standard

This role would suit people who have

* previous experience of managing fire compliance or fire safety and/ or a fire related qualification which could be from; Institute of Fire Engineers IFE- level 3 qualification, or NEBOSH Fire Certificate/ Fire Protection Association- level 3 or equivalent
* strong Microsoft Excel skills and data interpretation with the ability to write reports
* experience of presenting data and insight to both technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling way
* the ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering high quality work
* excellent relationship building skills with the confidence to challenge and drive improvement

Due to our continued growth, FM Conway is recruiting for a dynamic Fleet Compliance Manager to join our thriving Transport division. In this key role, you'll oversee the compliance of EU driver and vehicle tachograph regulations, covering our entire fleet across East and South London. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our Purley Oaks depot.

The duties of the Fleet Compliance Manager role will include:

- Reporting to the Senior Transport Manager regarding the levels of fleet compliance

What skills and experience do you need?

The successful candidate will understand EU driver and tachograph regulations. You will have knowledge of UK driving legislation, traffic laws and will have experience in a transport related environment. A full UK driving license is required and knowledge of compliance for a large fleet of vehicles is desirable but not essential.

Manchester City Council is looking for an experienced professional to lead the City's Highways Development Control Team. The team supports the Planning Department in assessing planning applications for new developments, ranging from small local applications to large multi-million-pound developments reshaping this great City. This role sits within the Highways Development side of Highway Services and as the Highway Authority, this role will focus on how new development impacts the highway and other surrounding areas. Key aims include ensuring developments promote sustainable travel and that the city is kept moving and accessible as it grows and develops. The role holder will have lead accountability for the Highway Service element of planning application assessment, also supporting developers and influencing planning applications at an early stage to shape the city in line with the Greater Manchester Transport Strategy 2040.

This role involves blended/hybrid working. You may able to work from home or remotely some of the time, or for certain tasks or limited days or hours. For the remainder of the time, you will be required to work at council sites or offices. This will depend on your role’s responsibilities and your personal circumstances.

You must hold a HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or other relevant equivalent subject) and have a significant and demonstrable experience of leading a team in a Highways / Transport / Engineering environment and be able to evidence training, qualifications and/or experience within Management and Leadership areas.

The post holder will act as a technical point of reference for the team and colleagues within and outside of the wider Highways Service. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in planning and strategic development, fostering and developing relationships and connections to ensure meaningful highways input at concept of minor and major growth developments across the city. Using our combined local knowledge and technical guidance to feed into new development like new or expanding schools, community developments, new housing estates and local amenities, providing support and advice on any issues. The post holder will represent the Council in respect of development control and will be responsible for the successful resolution of escalated issues.

A modern, proactive risk and compliance function is essential to support and protect the Council. This function must:

• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies that align with local government, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage core cyber security training compliance for all staff using a modern LMS platform.

We are looking for someone with knowledge in the construction of new buildings, on large scale estates and regeneration schemes incorporating sustainable construction elements. You will require the experience and knowledge to review the progress of all elements of contracts with contractors’ design responsibility. You will require a sound understanding of construction process including trades and materials.

In addition to the above, you also will have the ability to identify and resolve multiple issues to ensure the highest level of contract compliance. You will be familiar with all the relevant drawings and written instructions, checking them and using them as a reference when inspecting the work. An attention to detail when checking work and materials is essential.

You will need to be computer literate and be able input and retrieve data from computer management systems. This appointment will require a combination of both site and office based activity.

Part of this role will entail meeting customers in their new home, which will require on occasions that you are able to work in the evening or on a Saturday. You will need a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle on a daily basis as this role requires the post holder to be mobile (travelling to various sites).
