Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in mission-critical system software development.
• Technical Proficiency:Full-stack development experience, with a preference for C# and JavaScript.
  Strong knowledge of database systems, API design, network architecture, message brokers, and cloud technologies.

SCOPE

The overall scope of this role is to audit and analyse the hotel operational activities and provide accurate reports and recommendations.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

To safeguard the financial integrity and stability of the hotel and minimize any exposure to potential risks. To effectively audit, analyze and interpret all aspects of material handling within the hotel. Summarize and report findings and improvement suggestions on deficiencies. Provide the departments with the information needed to efficiently run their operation.

The job of Cost Control Executive is executed satisfactorily when:

• F&B POS system is up date with current pricing.
• F&B recipe costing is up date in procurement system.
• Accuracy in preparation of daily & monthly food and beverage cost reports.
• Random spot checks are performed and documented.
• Stocks in outlets are on par with demand period.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for performing spot checks of the receiving of goods and verifying accuracy of deliveries.
• Responsible for performing spot checks in the culinary area and verifying yielding and wastage.
• Responsible for verifying that food & beverage recipes are accurate and have updated cost and sale prices in POS & procurement system, as well as compliance during preparation.
• Responsible for randomly auditing the market list and use of seasonal items.
• Responsible for performing audits to ensure that inventory movements are recorded correctly.
• Organize and complete stock take and month-end closing procedures, including preparing journals and cost boards.
• Responsible for documenting and filing all findings and recommendation.
• Responsible for performing random inventories and verifying accuracy versus the perpetual inventory as well as that the stock levels are on par with current needs.
• Responsible for creating and distributing daily and monthly cost reports.
• Responsible for performing any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Accounting as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Finance trained with at least 2 years of relevant finance experience in cost control, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Organized, analytical, resourceful, meticulous and confident
• Able to multi-task and work independently in a dynamic environment with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in cost control with audit background is advantageous.

You will be responsible in the fulfillment of IT Governance functions which includes Incident Management, Change Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Risk Management and IT Audit.

Brief Job Description:

• Track and follow through reported production incidents from the identification of root cause and implementation of permanent solutions.
• Prepare IT reports, coordinate regular meetings and follow-up discussions between IT, Stakeholders and Management.
• Review IT processes and procedures, identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Liaise with internal and external parties in doing IT Audits and Due Diligence Assessment of IT services or systems.
• Follow company policies, procedures, regulatory notices and guidelines, and develop enhancements to existing procedures to ensure compliance to changes in these requirements.
• Regularly keep BCP documents updated and complete regular business continuity management activities including DR testing and call tree exercises.
• Document DR testing results, create a report with analysis and lessons learnt to improve business continuity procedures.
• Carry-out IT Risk assessments with system owners and IT heads related to regulatory guidelines on TRM, Cyber Hygiene, BCM, Outsourcing, DLP/ PDPA, Cloud, etc.
• Ensure that identified risks and gaps from the IT Risk assessment are reviewed, addressed and tracked for the completion of the remediation actions.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in information Technology/ Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Governance, IT Risk management, IT Audit areas.
• Strong understanding of MAS TRM, BCM, Outsourcing Guidelines, DLP and PDPA.
• Knowledge of Financial Derivatives and Securities is preferred.
• Preferably ITIL certified or equivalent is a plus.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and able to present ideas to all staff levels including Management.

Senior Compliance Officer (Card Scheme)

Our fast-paced Compliance team is looking for an experienced Card Scheme Compliance Officer for our Amsterdam Office with experience with Card Networks, payments and/or finance industry.
