Here’s what you’ll do:

Ensure Vessels’ Stores, Consumables and Spares requirements are met through:

• Evaluate and process requisitions raised by vessels
• Manage the RFQ process (including Quote Comparison & negotiating best prices or service), secure approvals for and award Purchase Orders to identified vendors
• Expedite readiness of critical items and resolve any potential disputes arising as part of service delivery

Monitor and Analyse vessels’ consumption of Stores, Consumables and Spares by:

• Track and Monitor vessels actual consumption vs budget allocation
• Analyse vessel consumption patterns across vessel classes to identify unusual consumption trends

Support the strategic procurement of Stores, Consumables and Spares/ Contract Management by:

• Participate in identifying partner vendors for framework agreements
• Assist in the management of Framework Agreements (including the tender process and post-tender contract management, if necessary)
• Support the development of matrices to evaluate vendor/supplier performance
• Assist in monitoring vendor/supplier performance.

Maintenance of Fleet documentations including but not limited to:

• Compile, check and correct end of month reports from fleet vessels (E.g. Main Engine Performance Reports, Lubricant Monthly Reports, Main Machinery Running Hour Reports)
• Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
• Update & maintain class survey status check list for the fleet.

The position is responsible for the provision of solutions required for the success of strategic initiatives for the Group.  The position drives the delivery of additional and sustainable value to existing and potential partners in the region, by focusing on service, total cost advantage, risk management and innovation across all Hotel spend. This is done through understanding the emergent needs of our guests and Hotels, the vision of Accor’s internal leaders, securing relevant resources in each market under a nomination contract and leveraging their specific category expertise.

Delivery of contracts of value

• Cover the “source to contract” process from needs analysis through to supplier negotiation and legal and operational implementation of national and regional agreements.
• Lead risk management initiatives by ensuring suppliers align with Ethics and CSR Charter, Data policies and complete KYC Process.
• Lead packaging of negotiated value proposition for owners and internal leaders.

Management and Leadership

• Lead, motivate and inspire team members to create a great place to work

Development of digital solutions

• Support the deployment of digital solutions related to closing the procure-to-pay loop.
• Co-ordinate with I.T., Operations, Suppliers and Digital partner to support optimizing onboarding process.

Compliance

• Drives the communication of national, regional and global contracts of value through the region.
• Develop tools for tracking region, country and Hotel-level compliance of nominated suppliers.
• Leverage knowledge of internal leaders, suppliers and Hotels to convert opportunities for business development.

Implementation of strategic roadmap

• Assist SVP of Procurement with design and implementation of strategic roadmap for region.

Review and delivery of optimized processes

• Ongoing review processes for procurement related activities and propose alternate solutions.
• Develop tools for concise communication of department progress.

Other Responsibilities

• Enhance specific category knowledge across key internal stakeholders and hotels.
• Staying engaged in the broader industry trends and available resources.
• Procurement GPO competitor knowledge.

Reporting into Veolia WTS’ Senior Director, APAC Region, this key regional role will oversee a team of Procurement professionals who are accountable for $120MM of Veolia WTS spend across the SEA - Oceania Region.

In partnership with internal functional stakeholders and business partners, the Regional Procurement Director is responsible for leading overall procurement activities in the region comprising of Chemicals, Projects, Products, Services and Indirect Procurement. This leader will work closely with commercial, P& L, supply chain, finance & other functional leadership teams and will be accountable for all procurement related deliverables in the SEA - Oceania region. This role will influence and collaborate
with regional stakeholders and supply base to develop/deploy a regional procurement strategy in alignment with the Global Category Management team.

 Good leadership and management skills to lead, mentor & coach Veolia WTS’ Regional Procurement team while influencing and collaborating with various regional stakeholders to drive common goals.
 Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide financial and non-financial results in a multicultural matrix environment in the SEA - Oceania region.
 Growth mindset to enable Procurement in becoming a business partner to support commercial growth, revenue execution, margin accretion & risk management.
 Expertise in procurement sub-functions and water treatment technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
 Leadership & Culture
o Lead and develop a high performing Procurement team by attracting, developing and retaining the best talent.
o Collaborate and partner with the Procurement Leadership Team and cross functional regional & global functions to create a best-in-class Procurement organization in the SEA - Oceania region.

o Establish regular communication & operating mechanisms with the regional business and supply-base stakeholders to drive financial and functional metrics.
o Represent regional business needs to global Procurement leadership while helping translate global strategies to executable plans in the region.

 Financial Metrics
o Deliver EBIT improvement for the region while mitigating market risks via focus on top line growth and bottom-line.
o Develop and implement regional procurement synergies across the organization.

 Procurement Operations
o Deliver on regional commitments (Project Execution, Fulfillment, On Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, BCC/Localization, etc.).
o Drive Procurement initiatives in accordance with Category Management strategy (Preferred Supplier Network, business allocation, supplier consolidation, sole source reduction, risk mitigation, etc.).
o Drive compliance to ‘Procure to Pay’ policies & procedures.
o Enable digitization while adapting the usage of data analytics and digital solutions in the region in accordance with Procurement’s global digital strategy.
o Promote Supplier Diversity & Sustainability.

 Good leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and lead a regional group in a unified direction with a common vision, and ability to influence business leaders and executives.
 Ability to translate global strategies to valuable outcomes for the business and to adjust the strategies to the local business and market conditions when required.
 Sense of accountability and ownership, ability to cope with regional complexity in a fast-paced work environment.
 Excellent verbal/written communication and proven interpersonal skills, capable of developing presentations, and comfortable interacting with internal/external stakeholders and Veolia WTS senior management.
