Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Northampton Hub
Hours:39 hours a week between Monday and Sunday, We may consider Part Time Candidates.
Typically, a Pharmacy Technician on a 39-hour contract would work three 8 hour (9.30-5.30) shifts and two 7.5 hour (10.00- 5.30) shifts per week if working Monday to Friday. You will be expected to work one weekend per month, both Saturday and Sunday, or every other Saturday if preferred. The working hours on a Sunday are shorter, 10.30- 16.30 therefore they would be required to work one or two longer shifts (on a Monday and Tuesday- our busiest days) to make up your contract hours for that week.
If working a weekend, you would get a day off in the week however this is not usually fixed and depends on the needs of the business.

Salary: £14.70 per hour plus up to 25% Bonus

The Role

Our Pharmacy Technician's are individuals who support the Pharmacy Manager and team to deliver great patient care and customer service. A big part of this exciting role involves listening to customers and using your experience and product knowledge to identify customer needs, provide advice and to help maximise sales.

• With minimal supervision undertake Modification of the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the modification and production plan
• Carry out post modification testing and advanced fault finding and diagnostic activities
• Undertake any other duties as and when required within the scope of the modification work

Knowledge & Experience

• Must have relevant experience in an electrical engineering environment
• Ability to complete all records of actions and operations accurately and to procedures
• Understands and cares for tools, equipment and PPE as appropriate
• Knowledge of Health & Safety including bio-hazards, manual handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
• Ability to use a laptop for diagnostic purposes
• Ability to understand and interpret relevant technical publications
• Experience in testing and fault finding
• Ability to fully read and understand complex electric circuit diagrams
• Ability to produce technical reports
