Job Title : Sales Executive (Rotating Machinery)

Job Description

The Sales Executive will lead the sales activities in the company for Rotating Equipment particularly Centrifugal Type Pumps/Compressors. The candidate’s task shall include building and maintaining excellent Customer relationships, managing our foreign principals professionally and competently, to maintain a long-term business relationship.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Working closely with original equipment manufacturer/OEM, local technical staff members to provide products, solutions & services to existing and potential customers.
• Coordinate and project manage – small to medium size projects which may involve other stakeholders. (internal team, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, etc)
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team to realize targets and objectives.         
• Regularly following up with customers and reporting on the opportunities and status update.
• Engage in marketing activities, gather market data and track competitor activity/ information periodically.
• Hands-on, travelling to visit customers and sitework is necessary as required.
• Relevant knowledge and experience in the Power Plant and/ or Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
• Sales “on-the-job" training and product familiarization courses will be provided as necessary, to competently perform the duties expected.
• Take part in any tendering activities, including preparing the required submission documentation, pricing generation and cost compilation
• To perform any task as assigned by the superior, including non-sales administrative duties.
• The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with excellent time-management skills.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Required Skill(s): Computer literate. Competency in Microsoft including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Duties include but not limited to:

• Collection of laboratory specimens (blood, urine, and stool). Processing of specimens by centrifuge to separate plasma and serum. Separation of specimens into correct tubes for transportation to various labs. Performs D- Sticks for Metabolic studies.
• Obtains timely and appropriate blood samples as ordered per unit policies and procedures. Recognize abnormal lab values and reports to Charge Nurse and Physician.
• Exercises sound judgment to identify patient care needs, implement treatment protocols and collect pertinent data.
• Directs and supports patients in the implementation of unit protocols, treatment goals and provides input into the treatment and discharge plan. Instructs patients on their role in various procedures and metabolic protocols covering information previously discussed with the patient by the Physician or RN.
• Reviews current treatment plan, CPRS records on assigned patients prior to initiation of any procedures or protocols, to ensure quality care.
• Documents in the clinical record the patient's progress toward protocols, medical treatment needs and interventions; discharge planning and referral data.
• Obtain venous blood samples by aseptic venipuncture technique from patients in the Outpatient Clinic
• Proficiently collects blood samples with a minimal number of failures, patient bruising, or required resticks.
• Verifies patient information and tests ordered in the computer system.
• Specimens must be properly labeled and initiated, following specimen procurement policies and procedures.
• Performs a range of support duties to include obtaining specimens, including, but not limited to, blood (phlebotomy), urine, feces, nasopharyngeal swabs, fecal occult blood specimens (FOBT kit).
• Performs the processing of all clinical laboratory specimens and is responsible for the timely and proper distribution of specimens to the reference laboratories to include centrifuges, decants, and aliquots specimens as appropriate.

The Pharmacy Technician, GS-0661-07, with the Clinical Contact Center is expected to strive to achieve First Contact Resolution (FCR) whenever possible. They are expected to maintain a high degree of accurate productivity and performance while being extremely sensitive to their specific contribution to the overall patient care provided. As required and assigned, the incumbent is expected to accomplish all duties normally performed by general VISN Clinical Contact Center pharmacy technicians at the lower grade level.

Specialized duties, in addition to the generalized duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Medication Management:

• Works collaboratively with VISN programs, services, and interdisciplinary team members to provide access to care and meet the need of Veterans, their family members and/or legal representatives via various available contact modalities to include, but not limited to, telephone calls, secure messaging, chat, text messaging, and video regarding a broad range of topics including medication refills and renewals, basic billing inquiries, and procedural pharmacy activities.
• Routinely reviews medication profiles for therapeutic duplication, prescription non­ compliance, allergies, and drug interactions. Seeks assistance with identified individuals from a Clinical Pharmacist or supervisor for further evaluation, if needed.
• Processes and submits patient requests for new prescription orders and renewal requests, including controlled substances, into the VISN Clinical Contact Center software and/or Electronic Health Record (EHR) accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner. Uses approved VISN Clinical Contact Center Pharmacy protocols when appropriate to satisfy patient medication requests.
• Consistently documents patient contact and resolution in VISN Clinical Contact Center software and/or the EHR to include, but not limited to, what was requested, what action was taken, and any other information which may be pertinent during future research. Assists in the documentation of medication variances.
• Assists in training of lower graded technicians and technician students.
• Assists in the completion of workload for other VISN Clinical Contact Center Pharmacy Services in the event of natural disasters, low staffing, or other contingency needs.
• Performs all duties of lower graded technicians, if required.

• Actively and diligently treats all Veterans with respect and utmost dignity. Seeks to resolve Veteran's concerns at first contact independently. When required, refers to other VA resources to assist in the resolution process. Always resolves all Veteran issues in a timely and caring manner with emphasis on providing first contact resolution (FCR).
• Seeks assistance from designated Lead Technician, Clinical Pharmacist or Supervisor when responding to unusual questions or when reasonable attempts to satisfy a caller have been unsuccessful.

Specific duties include:

• Prepares audits of benefit awards; processing fiscal transactions-including one-time special payments and out of system payments to bring accounts to current status.
• Communicates with Veterans and their beneficiaries, as well as other governmental agencies, in person, by telephone or through written communication.
• Processes check tracers for Veterans and their beneficiaries for claims of non-receipt and initiates reclamation action when necessary.
• Examines expenditure vouchers prior to payment to assure that existing laws and regulations authorize the expenditure and that the amount is in compliance with set schedules.
• Ensures that vouchers are certified, appropriate documentation is attached, and the computations are mathematically correct having the authority to suspend or disallow payments when the criteria for payment is not met.
• Reviews and analyzes financial statements from the debtor, information in claims folders, and other correspondence associated with debts and prepares appropriate documents.
• Acts as a liaison with financial departments to answer overpayment inquiries from Veterans or their beneficiaries.
• Utilizes the payment information systems to determine interest and monthly payment disbursement.
• Analyzes all incoming mail to the Finance Section and correctly classifies documents for processing.
• Maintains and compiles info. for required monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, special, and/or one-time reports, including workload reports.
• Maintains a system of accounting records for all financial management system transactions within the Regional Office.
• Posts and maintains manual and computerized ledgers and related subsidiary journals, and journalizes corrective actions for erroneous conditions.

• Researches, interprets, and verifies which appropriation and general ledger accounts to establish for input.
